  • Publication number: 20220030293
Abstract: A technique is described for generating a unified list (e.g., a list ribbon) of programs from a variety and disparate channels, the list for display on an over-the-top (OTT) client device. As an example, the unified list can be generated from OTT live channels and from over-the-air OTA and/or Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) live channels. Further, the unified list can include OTT recordings on the cloud and OTA/ATSC recordings on the local hard drive connected to an OTA local DVR. Thus, the OTT device Client obtains the list from the DVR backend, instead of going to the local OTA client box for the local recordings.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes radiation-assisted, substrate-free, and solution-based nanostructure (e.g., a nanotube and/or a nanowire (NW)) growth processes. The processes use the high absorption coefficient and high density of free charge carriers in particle seeds (e.g., nanoparticles, metal nanoparticles, and/or metal nanocrystals) to photothermally drive semiconductor nanostructure growth. The processes can be performed at atmospheric pressure, without specialized equipment such as specialized heating equipment and/or high-pressure reaction vessels.

  • Publication number: 20210285323
Abstract: Described are systems and methods for determining a distance between a hydraulic fracture of a child well to a parent wellbore of a parent well. A distributed accoustic sensor fiber optic cable measures strain measurements along a length of the parent wellbore. A computing device then calculates the distance between the hydraulic fracture and the parent wellbore by inputting the strain measurements into a fracture strain model to solve for a location of the hydraulic fracture. A sub-surface process may be adjusted based on the calculated distance between the hydraulic fracture and the parent wellbore to avoid or utilize a frac hit.
