  • Patent number: 7843299
Abstract: In inductive devices and transformers, a periodic transformation system reduces or prevents heat or distortion, reduces resistance or impedance and improves output energy. In one embodiment, the Tru-Scale Reactance Transformation System provides an harmonic relationship among the core, winding, magnetic flux, and the current in order to maximize energy output of inductive devices, such as a transformer, by reducing EMF collisions in any type of power systems.

Date of Patent: November 30, 2010
    Assignee: Meta-C Corporation

  • Patent number: 7148641
Abstract: In an AC or DC motor operation and power generation system, a periodic transformation system reduces or prevents harmonic distortion, reduces resistance or impedance, and improves energy efficiency in a signal either consumed, such as in a motor, or produced, such as in a generator. In one embodiment, the TruScale Reactance Transformation System or the Eastern Modified TruScale Octave Transformation System are the periodic transform systems provided to prevent overtone collisions in current and voltage signals, in order to maximize energy spectral density, and to precondition either DC or AC signals.

  • Patent number: 6178316
Abstract: An electronic device for improving the average deviation of a modulated signal, particularly a radio frequency (RF) modulated signal. A fixed interval scale system known as Tru-Scale, or other periodic frequency matrix data, is applied to the audio frequency component or baseband signal and increases the strength of the signal. This increase in turn produces an improved modulation model for transmission. In addition, impedance in the baseband signal is reduced, requiring less power to modulate the carrier signal. The process increases periodicity within the baseband signal, improving the Signal to Noise ratio and other measurable performance characteristics. By utilizing signal energy more effectively, more powerful propagational efficiencies result.

  • Patent number: 6003000
Abstract: A method and system for representing speech with greatly reduced harmonic and intermodulation distortion using a fixed interval scale, known as Tru-Scale. Speech is reproduced in accordance with a frequency matrix which reduces intermodulation interference and harmonic distortion (overtone collision). Enhanced speech quality and reduced noise results from increasing the signal-to-noise ratio in the processed speech signal. The method and system use an Auto-Regressive (AR) modeling technique, using, among other approaches, Linear Predictive Coding (LPC) analysis. In accordance with another aspect of the invention, a Fourier transform-based modeling technique also is used. The application of the system to speech coders also is contemplated.

  • Patent number: 5306865
Abstract: An electronic musical instrument for reproducing chords or pure tones in a fixed interval scale, called Modified Eastern Music Tru-Scale Octave Transformation by the inventors, without overtone collision. The instrument includes a memory for storing and reproducing the 24 octave frequency interval system. The inventive instrument reproduces single or multiple notes with an interval system which eliminates dissonance, and allows complete modulation in all key signatures and pure tone relationships without altering the keyboard. The invention also contemplates the use of the Modified Eastern Music Tru-Scale frequencies with all MIDI interface compatible instruments or devices, in conjunction with a suitable frequency generator, or through internal or external memory sources. The invention also can be applied to a fretted stringed musical instrument which provides a novel fretboard for generating overtone collision-free tones with complete modulation of the Modified Eastern Music Tru-Scale Octave Transformation.

  • Patent number: 4860624
Abstract: An electronic musical instrument for reproducing chords in a fixed interval scale, know as Tru-Scale, without overtone collision. The instrument includes a memory for storing of frequency information corresponding to respective notes for producing tones using the Tru-Scale interval system. The inventive instrument reproduces single notes and chords in accordance with an interval system which eliminates dissonance, allows complete modulation, in all key signatures, and pure tone chords without altering the keyboard. The invention also contemplates the use of the Tru-Scale frequencies with all MIDI interface compatible instruments, in conjunction with a suitable tone generator, or through internal or external memory sources.
