Publication number: 20250104716Abstract: An embodiment includes a method of vocal profile generation and implementation that includes causing display of a prompt for a user that represents an input value of a processing engine. The method includes obtaining a first spoken pronunciation from the user that corresponds to the prompt. The method includes generating a vocal profile based on the first spoken pronunciation that provides a basis for interpretation of vocal input received on distributed devices. The method includes storing the vocal profile at a data storage with other vocal profiles generated for users. The method includes obtaining identifier information that indicates that the user is operating a distributed device. Responsive to the identifier information, the method includes retrieving the vocal profile and loading it onto the distributed device such that obtained vocal input is interpreted according to the vocal profile prior its communication as an input value to the processing engine.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 20, 2024Publication date: March 27, 2025Applicant: Ivanti, Inc.Inventors: Ian Hughes, Thomas Eaton, Matthew Pritchard, Taylor Sorensen, James Brian

Publication number: 20250022755Abstract: Methods of dicing semiconductor wafers, each wafer having a plurality of integrated circuits, are described. A method includes forming a mask above the semiconductor wafer, the mask including a layer covering and protecting the integrated circuits. The mask and a portion of the semiconductor wafer are patterned with a laser scribing process to provide a patterned mask and to form trenches partially into but not through the semiconductor wafer between the integrated circuits. Each of the trenches has a width. The semiconductor wafer is plasma etched through the trenches to form corresponding trench extensions and to singulate the integrated circuits. Each of the corresponding trench extensions has the width.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 26, 2024Publication date: January 16, 2025Inventors: Wei-Sheng LEI, Brad EATON, Madhava Rao YALAMANCHILI, Saravjeet SINGH, Ajay KUMAR, James M. Publication number: 20180075829Abstract: An audio interface and related use of such interface is provided. The audio interface and its general technique enable a device such as a smartphone, notebook, tablet, computer, or similar processor based device to be more effectively used in audio applications; such as recording, playback, and real time effects. A new and useful process improvement to audio interfaces is described, giving the ability to dynamically condition both analog and digital audio signals as well as dynamically select the direction of audio signals between analog and digital interfaces using switches, knobs, and other control methods. The interface method and concept highlight flexibility in order to serve the broadest collection of use cases, for example, any analog audio signal shall be used in conjunction with any digital device or interface for the purpose of at least one of the following activities: recording, playback, and real time effects.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 14, 2016Publication date: March 15, 2018Applicant: Lineshark Audio Inc.Inventor: Jed James Eaton

Patent number: 9799322Abstract: Provided are methods and systems for generating Direct-to-Reverberant Ratio (DRR) estimates. The methods and systems use a null-steered beamformer to produce accurate DRR estimates across a variety of room sizes, reverberation times, and source-receiver distances. The DRR estimation algorithm uses spatial selectivity to separate direct and reverberant energy and account for noise separately. The formulation considers the response of the beamformer to reverberant sound and the effect of noise. The DRR estimation algorithm is more robust to background noise than existing approaches, and is applicable where a signal is recorded with two or more microphones, such as with mobile communications devices, laptop computers, and the like.Type: GrantFiled: October 22, 2014Date of Patent: October 24, 2017Assignee: Google Inc.Inventors: D. Patent number: 9717974Abstract: Certain embodiments of the present disclosure describe a pole and base assembly. The pole and base assembly includes a pole with an upper engagement portion and a lower engagement portion that are biased toward each other. A base includes a socket to receive the pole and a channel that allows the lower engagement portion to pass through the base. The upper engagement portion is retained on the top surface of the base. When the lower engagement portion is passed through the socket and aligned with a locking portion, the biasing force causes the upper and lower engagement portions to clamp together around the base and lock the pole to the base.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 2015Date of Patent: August 1, 2017Assignee: Indian Industries, Inc.Inventors: Ryan Hahn, James Eaton
