  • Patent number: 11982424
Abstract: A set of louvers adapted for use with a linear luminaire has a first wall, a second wall spaced from the first wall, and a plurality of louvers extending between the first wall and the second wall. Each of the plurality of louvers is fixed to the first wall and the second wall, and may be integrally formed with the walls, and each of the plurality of louvers is spaced from the others. First and second side portions depend from the first wall and the second wall. An internal cavity of the set of louvers is defined by bottoms of the plurality of louvers and the first and second side portions. Engaging structure is defined on inwardly-facing surfaces of the first and second side portions. Combinations including the set of louvers and a linear luminaire in which the set of louvers “snaps on” externally to the linear luminaire are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240154611
Abstract: A technique for powering gate drivers in a half-bridge configuration uses a single external power supply to power each gate driver. A single on-chip regulator regulates the positive turn-on voltage for each switch. The regulator overhead, is also used as the negative voltage for turn-off, thus transferring the low-frequency variation of the external power supply to the negative turn-off voltage. Accordingly, a single on-chip regulator generates both the positive turn-on voltage and the negative turn-off voltage. In at least one embodiment, reuse of the switch turn-off current further reduces on-chip power dissipation. The on-chip regulator's output filter capacitor discharges during turn-on of the external power switching device. During turn-off, the current that discharges the switch gate capacitance recharges the regulator filter capacitor.

  • Patent number: 11978808
Abstract: Vertical etch heterolithic integrated circuit devices are described. A method of manufacturing NIP diodes is described in one example. A P-type substrate is provided, and an intrinsic layer is formed on the P-type substrate. An oxide layer is formed on the intrinsic layer, and one or more openings are formed in the oxide layer. One or more N-type regions are implanted in the intrinsic layer through the openings in the oxide layer. The N-type regions form cathodes of the NIP diodes. A dielectric layer deposited over the oxide layer is selectively etched away with the oxide layer to expose certain ranges of the intrinsic layer to define a geometry of the NIP diodes. The intrinsic layer and the P-type substrate are vertically etched away within the ranges to expose sidewalls of the intrinsic layer and the P-type substrate. The P-type substrate forms the anodes of the NIP diodes.

  • Patent number: 11974557
Abstract: A rotatable line transfer mechanism for a fishing reel includes a substantially hemispherical cap (SHC) and a securing mechanism. The SHC includes an outwardly curved hemispherical upper section (OCHUS) and a wall extending vertically downwards from a boundary of the OCHUS. The SHC includes a line flow slot extending from the wall to an apex of the OCHUS. The line flow slot receives and passes a fishing line from and to a spool. The securing mechanism is attachable to the SHC to rotatably secure the SHC to a fishing reel body. The rotatable line transfer mechanism is rotated about an axis of rotation of the spool in one direction to position the fishing line in a first end of the line flow slot during a retrieve mode, and in another direction to position the fishing line in a second end of the line flow slot during a cast mode.

  • Patent number: 11972417
Abstract: An encrypted payment message is received from a buyer relating to a transaction with a merchant. The payment message is parsed using a first parsing algorithm to obtain merchant identifying information. The merchant identifying information is associated with at least a second parsing algorithm or at least one settlement algorithm. The payment message is parsed using the second parsing algorithm to obtain payment information for the transaction. A first settlement algorithm is applied to the payment information to determine an adjusted interchange rate. The payment information including the adjusted interchange rate is submitted to a third party settlement processor on behalf of the merchant, using a payment algorithm. A second settlement algorithm applied to the payment information determines a buyer rebate which can be submitted to the settlement processor. A transaction result is reported to at least one of the merchant or the buyer.

  • Patent number: 11970868
Abstract: An additive printing device and a method for using the same to manufacture a tower structure of a wind turbine is provided. The additive printing device includes a vertical support structure, a support ring suspended from the vertical support structure, and a printer head movably coupled to the support ring for selectively depositing cementitious material. A drive mechanism, such as a rack and pinion, moves the printer head around the support ring while selectively depositing cementitious material. The vertical support structure may be raised and/or the relative position between the vertical support structure and the printer head may be adjusted to raise the printer head to print subsequent layers. This process may be repeated to print the tower structure layer-by-layer from the ground up.
