  • Patent number: 11951131
Abstract: Provided are chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) having antigenic specificity for B-cell Maturation Antigen (SLAMF7). Also provided are related nucleic acids, recombinant expression vectors, host cells, populations of cells, and pharmaceutical compositions relating to the CARs. Methods of treating or preventing cancer in a mammal are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20060103064
Abstract: Systems and apparatus for manufacturing books are disclosed. An example modular signature feeder includes a frame having a base configured to enable the modular signature feeder to be removably attached to another modular signature feeder or a signature transfer assembly associated with a signature collation feeder assembly. Removably attaching the modular signature feeder assembly to another modular signature feeder or a signature transfer assembly increases a footprint of the signature collation feeder assembly. A conveyor configured to move signatures and a hopper configured to hold a plurality of signatures are operatively coupled to the frame. A signature feeding device is disposed between the hopper and the conveyor and configured to feed the signatures from the hopper to the conveyor.

  • Patent number: 4482969
Abstract: An acid alkylation process is controlled so as to maintain a desired ratio of isobutane to olefins in a fluid stream flowing to the alkylation reactor and to maintain a desired acid to hydrocarbon ratio in the alkylation reactor. Also, if parallel alkylation reactors are utilized, the flow rate of the olefin stream to one of the alkylation reactors is manipulated so as to maintain a balanced loading on the parallel alkylation reactors. Such control results in improved quality of the alkylate produced and also improves the amount of alkylate produced from a particular amount of fluid to the alkylation reactor.

  • Patent number: 4473442
Abstract: In an alkylation process in which an acid regenerator is utilized to separate an acid catalyst from acid soluble oil contained in a spent acid catalyst stream, the heat input to the acid regenerator is manipulated based on the feed flow rate of the spent acid catalyst stream so as to maintain a substantially constant heat input per pound of feed flowing to the acid regenerator and the liquid level in the acid regenerator is manipulated so as to maintain the acid catalyst and acid soluble oil interface in the acid regenerator at a desired level. Such manipulation of the heat input to and the liquid level in the acid regenerator results in a substantially optimum separation of acid catalyst from acid soluble oil.
