  • Publication number: 20240338499
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product that includes a processor(s) standardizing data from sources that includes details for materials for integration into a custom-designed item. The processor(s) store the standardized data in a consolidated data set one or more databases accessible to an API. The processor(s) trigger the API, based on a selected in a graphical user interface communicatively coupled to the API, to query the one or more databases to obtain select data from the consolidated data set about a portion of the materials that could potentially fulfill a parameter for the custom-designed item. The processor(s) optimize the select data, to determine one or more physical layouts for the portion of the materials in the custom-designed item. The processor(s) render and display a two-dimensional model of the custom-designed object with the one or more physical layouts implemented into the custom-designed object.

  • Publication number: 20240164601
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of machines for cleaning, particularly vacuum cleaning devices. There is disclosed a filter cartridge for a vacuum cleaner comprising first and second opposite end walls, a side wall or walls which extend between the end walls so as to define an enclosure which surrounds a filter interior, wherein one or more of the walls comprises filter membrane material, the cartridge having an opening provided through the first end wall for receiving air-entrained detritus into the interior, the opening being defined by a rigid support structure which spans and supports the first end wall of the cartridge. The cartridge typically includes a non-return valve which closes when suction is removed so as to help prevent collected detritus escaping from the filter cartridge interior. The valve may comprise a conical valve with flexible facets, or a cantilever flap.

  • Publication number: 20230419967
Abstract: Systems and processes for providing textual representations for a communication session are provided. For example, at least one audio input is received at an electronic device, wherein each audio input of the at least one audio input is associated with a respective priority level. A priority level of an audio input detected at a microphone of the electronic device is determined, wherein a highest priority level among the determined priority level and each received priority level corresponding to the at least one audio input is identified. A textual representation of a respective audio input corresponding to the identified highest priority level is obtained, wherein the obtained textual representation is displayed on a display of the electronic device.

  • Patent number: 5383649
Abstract: An introducing means for introducing particulate material into a molten metal, molten alloy or molten ceramic stream, or spray of droplets formed therefrom is disclosed. The introducing means has an annular introducing chamber defining an opening through which the stream may be teemed. The chamber includes an inlet, and an outlet positioned about the opening. The outlet allows particulate material to exit from the introducing chamber at a plurality of positions about the opening so that, in use, the particulate material is introduced substantially uniformly about the stream or spray. The particulate material is preferably supplied by means of a hopper, a screw feeder for feeding material to the hopper to a mixing chamber, and a transport gas for transporting the particulate material from the mixing chamber to the introducing chamber.
