  • Patent number: 11014702
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device holding box flaps open and down along the box side walls, and allowing for secure box stacking. The device has two sides joined at a right angle at a junction. The device has an inside wall with two sections. The device has an outside wall with two sections. The inside and outside walls are joined with a rail, also having two sections. The inside wall is perpendicular to the rail, and the outside wall is divergent from the inside all relative to the rail. The inside wall, outside wall and rail define a cavity that can be slid onto a box to hold two flaps in an open position. A rim with two sections upstands from the rail. The rim is located on the middle of the rail so that a bottom of a stacked box is stacked in a secure manner.

  • Patent number: 10737829
Abstract: The present invention relates to a box fastener. The box fastener can have sides with both a top piece and a bottom piece that are separated by a gap. The bottom piece is deformable along its length. The bottom piece has a hole that is either offset or enlarged compared to a corresponding hole in the top piece to accommodate the arcuate path of a curved piercing element of arm. A seal can be provided between the top and bottom piece. The piercing element optionally can puncture the seal and the seal can be fastened around the arm that is in the locked position. Unlocking of the arm will break the seal thereby revealing evidence of an unlocking event. The fastener has a bottom with grips having angled distal surfaces. The grips provide increasing levels of grip as the thickness of the box increases, and vice versa.

  • Patent number: 10526108
Abstract: The present invention relates to a box fastener anchor that is removably connectable or permanently attached to a fastener and that has a tooth that can pierce a box. The anchor can have a base with two lips in one embodiment. The base has a hole between the lips with a securing ring with distally located rims that combine to form a ring. The rims and lips can be used to connect the anchor to a box fastener. The base further has a base flange at one end. The anchor also has an arm with a tooth at the distal end of the arm. The tooth has a piercing element at one end. The tooth can have a curved or straight body. The arm can mate with the base to lock the arm in a closed position. A release is provided for unlocking the arm from the base.

  • Patent number: 4559902
Abstract: There is described a method and apparatus for holding and cultivating aquatic crustaceans and like shellfish. The apparatus comprises a well for holding water, a plurality of buoyant trays each sub-divided into a plurality of compartments sized to house a crustacean and having a perforated bottom, the trays being adapted for submersion within the well to form a column of trays whereby the weight of one tray maintains the trays beneath it in a submerged condition. The apparatus further includes an airlift to simultaneously lift water from the vicinity of the bottom of the well for recirculation to the top of the well and to aerate the water as it is being lifted. There is further included an outlet to introduce a supply of fresh extraneous water to the top of the well and to drain water from the bottom of the well in amounts corresponding substantially to that added to the top of the well.
