  • Patent number: 11604862
Abstract: Embodiments herein disclose computer-implemented methods, computer program products and computer systems for authenticating a user. The computer-implemented method may include receiving biographical data corresponding to a user. A change rate may be determined based on user biographical data. The computer-implemented method may include receiving first biometric data having a time-varying characteristic from the user at a first time and receiving second biometric data having the time-varying characteristic from the user at a second time that is later in time than the first time. Further, the computer-implemented method may include determining third biometric data based at least on the first biometric data, the second time, and the time-varying characteristic, and authenticating the user if the third biometric data is within a predetermined threshold of the second biometric data at the second time.

  • Patent number: 11599816
Abstract: A method and system is disclosed for determining a probability that an encountered platform was of a specific type given that a plurality of emitters exist on the platform and each emitter has a computed probability that it is of each of a set of types. A preprocessing stage operates on a description of the environment and determines the probability of a set of events that are independent of any observation. A runtime processing stage uses the terms computed in the preprocessing stage along with data assembled from a set of observations to determine the conditional probability that a particular platform type was the type encountered.

  • Publication number: 20220404125
Abstract: A non-injurious incapacitating device is provided that includes an exterior layer defining a contained volume. A primary effect is contained within the device that deploys to size at least 10 times that of the contained volume. A power supply and a sensor are provided. The sensor communicates a contact or proximity signal when the exterior layer contacts or is within an effective range of a target. A control circuit interconnects provides a triggering signal to the primary effect based on the contact or proximity signal. The device is provided in some embodiments as a system inclusive of a launcher. A method of non-injuriously incapacitating of a target individual is also provided in which a user directs a device into proximity of the target individual. • Patent number: 11255166
Abstract: Migration of formation solids in a wellbore is restrained by feeding a slurry, comprising water, a viscosifier, and a concentration of cement clinker particles, into the wellbore, and hydrating the clinker particles in the wellbore. The clinker particles are kept in suspension during the hydrating, and upon completion of the hydrating the hydrated clinker particles form a hardened cement consisting of a permeable structure of interconnected hydrated clinker particles. A layer of degradable lost circulation material (LCM) may be employed to separate the slurry with clinker particles from the formation surrounding the wellbore during hydrating of the clinker particles.

  • Publication number: 20220022858
Abstract: An intraluminal retractor includes a shapeable element formed by a series of shaping segments. The shaping segments may be associated with one another in a relaxed configuration that imparts the shapeable element with a linear, substantially linear or curvilinear shape to enable its insertion into an interior space within a subject's body. When actuated, the shaping segments may assume a contracted configuration that imparts the shapeable element with a desired shape, which may move an organ within which or against which the shapeable element is positioned, change a path of the organ and/or alter a shape of the organ. Methods for altering the locations, paths and/or shapes of organs are also disclosed.
