  • Publication number: 20240108844
Abstract: A humidification system can include a heater base, a humidification chamber, and a breathing circuit. A cartridge can be removably coupled to the heater base. The cartridge can include various sensors, probes, sensor wire connectors, heater wire connectors, and/or other features. The cartridge can include features configured to mate with corresponding features on the humidification chamber and the heater base. The cartridge includes a memory, such as an EEPROM, or other suitable storage device. When the cartridge is installed on the heater base, the memory is electrically connected to a processor and/or memory of the heater base. Various models of cartridges can be produced for use with different humidification chambers, breathing circuits, and/or therapies. A connector can be configured to couple an inspiratory conduit to an outlet port of the humidification chamber. The connector can provide a pneumatic connection to the outlet port and an electrical connection to the cartridge.

  • Patent number: 7374588
Abstract: A stable, substantially clear and homogeneous fuel composition contains an additive comprising a nitrogen donor and carrier, the nitrogen donor being present in an amount sufficient to reduce the NOx emissions of the fuel when subject to combustion and the carrier being selected to render the nitrogen donor soluble and to give the additive a molecular weight compatible with the energy properties of the fuel.

  • Publication number: 20060267293
Abstract: The present invention utilizes a gasket that interlocks on a fastener thereby enabling the fastener, the gasket and a component to be connected together as an assembly. The fastener includes a torque-limiting feature thereby freeing the gasket from the necessity of including such a feature therein. The interlock between the gasket and the fastener is formed by tabs that fit within a shoulder of the gasket or by an interference fit between apertures in the gasket and the shoulder of the fasteners.

  • Patent number: 4512398
Abstract: A pump-out plug catcher is disclosed for use within a wellbore to contain a released pump-out plug. The catcher includes a body, pump-out plug retention devices, and an extension member which extends into the body. The body is provided with an axial bore extending therethrough and an enlarged hollow portion in communication with the bore. Pump-out plug retention devices are provided in an upper portion of the body and retain a pump-out plug across the bore until subjected to a predetermined pressure. The extension member is provided with an axial bore extending therethrough which is of a diameter less than pump-out plug. The released pump-out plug catcher apparatus is lowered into a wellbore and set below a retrievable packer assembly. A pump-out plug is connected to the catcher and fluid is introduced down the tubing to force the pump-out plug from its position.
