  • Patent number: 11826797
Abstract: A pipe snow removal device is supported for movement longitudinally along a pipe to clear snow and/or ice from the pipe. A main housing has boundary walls defining an outer boundary of a bounded space within a hollow interior of the main housing. An inner boundary of the bounded space is open to the pipe upon which the main housing is supported. A mounting arrangement supports the main housing relative to a work vehicle that is movable alongside the pipe to displace the main housing along the pipe. A heater heats the bounded space to melt the snow/ice on the pipe. A scraper assembly supported in leading relationship to the main housing clears loose snow before melting remaining snow and ice on the pipe as the housing passes.

  • Patent number: 10602738
Abstract: A mobile hunting blind mounted on a trailer comprises a trailer frame having a pair of wheels on which is mounted a shack and a winch for deploying the shack to an operating position. A frame portion stands upwardly adjacent the forward end of the trailer frame and a base of the shack is supported at the top for pivotal movement about a horizontal axis transverse to the trailer fame such that, in the first storage position, one side wall of the shack is generally horizontal and lies on the trailer frame with the base standing generally upwardly from the trailer frame and such that in the second operating position the base extends generally horizontally from the top of the upstanding support frame position with the side walls extending upwardly from the base. A ladder supports the edge of the base remote from the axis from the trailer frame.

  • Patent number: 7320202
Abstract: An apparatus for picking, conveying, stacking and bundling lumber pieces from the ground for example for removing stacked support lumber during laying of a pipe line comprises a tracked vehicle to which is attached a frame carrying a transport conveyer along the side of the vehicle forwardly and downwardly toward the ground. At the forward picking end is provided a picker roller for lifting the lumber pieces from the ground. On one side of the picker roller is provided a drive conveyer which is generally vertical and operable in forward and reverse direction to orient the pieces. On the side opposite to the drive conveyers provided a vertical blade with a rearwardly inclined inner portion which blade can pivot inwardly to push the lumber pieces toward the drive conveyer and to enclose and squeeze the pieces to a position inward of the side of the conveyer.

  • Patent number: 6401368
Abstract: An excavator and a method of use of the excavator is provided for use in excavating a trench having a pipeline extending along one side thereof in a longitudinal direction of the trench. The excavator is positioned adjacent the pipeline opposite the trench and includes a hydraulic arm arranged to extend over the pipeline and into the trench. A hydraulic clam bucket is mounted on a free end of the hydraulic arm for excavating earth from the trench. The arm includes articulation joints about both horizontal and vertical axes such that the base of the excavator adjacent the pipeline may remain fixed in relation to the pipeline as the bucket is guided within the trench.

  • Patent number: 5934861
Abstract: An apparatus for picking and conveying lumber pieces from the ground for example for removing stacked support lumber during laying of a pipe line comprises a tracked vehicle carrying a transport conveyer across the rear of the vehicle and a conveyer table extending from the feed end of the main conveyer forwardly and downwardly toward the ground. At the forward picking end is provided a picker roller for lifting the lumber pieces from the ground. On one side of the picker roller is provided a drive conveyer which is generally vertical and driven at a high speed so that ends of the lumber pieces engaging the drive conveyer are driven rapidly rearwardly over the picker roller onto the conveyer so as to move along their length. On the side opposite to the drive conveyers provided a vertical flap which can pivot from side to side to push the lumber pieces toward the drive conveyer. The forward end of the conveyer table can be moved vertically and horizontally so as to engage the stack at the required position.

  • Patent number: 4204265
Abstract: Two or more static converter switching circuits are connected in series across an input voltage source and have their primaries wound on a single power transformer core. Each converter circuit includes a current primary winding so as to limit the current through the power switches during the switching periods. The circuit arrangement allows equal input voltage distribution across the power switches and controls the current rise through each power switch during the turn ON and turn OFF times.

  • Patent number: 4042872
Abstract: A static converter utilizing a transformer core having a gapped auxiliary flux path with a reluctance differing from that of another flux path, and a main flux path about which the primary and secondary converter windings are wrapped and through which the flux in both the auxiliary path and the other path pass. A sense winding is wrapped about the other path so as to develop on saturation a signal which can be used to de-energize the primary winding before saturation of the main flux path and thereby prevent the generation of high current surges through the switching transistors in the primary circuit.
