    Abstract: A disclosed method includes loading a driver stack for an industrial automation control (IAC) communication protocol into a management controller of a server, connecting the management controller to an IAC network interconnect, and communicating with the driver stack to perform operations for integrating the management controller into the IAC network as a remotely manageable resource of the IAC network. The integrating may include discovering the management controller, obtaining configuration information from the management controller, indicative of a configurable management controller resource, and configuring a setting of the resource. The configurable management controller resource may be a network interface card (NIC) and the configurable setting may be an Internet protocol (IP) address of the NIC. In at least some embodiments, the driver stack is a PROFINET stack and performing the operations includes Discovery and Basic Configuration Protocol (DCP) requests and responses.

The outside is spray-coated on both vertical sides with an elastomeric polymer mixture. Panels or walls are connected to other panels and to floor or wall surfaces by straight brackets and angle brackets. The multiple vertical layers of the panel trap bullets, armor piercing shells, bomb shrapnel or other ballistic elements in the wall.

    Abstract: An industrial controller having a number of addressable I/O modules, employs an I/O map table linking software addresses used for developing the control program to actual physical addresses of the I/O modules on a network. By employing software addresses for connection points to the control process, the program may be developed independent of the topology of the network connecting the processor to the I/O modules and changes in that topology may be made without affecting the control program, but simply by changing the I/O map table. A single change in the I/O map table re-connects an I/O module for all references in the control program.

    Abstract: An elongated, horizontal tunnel-type furnace for heat treating workpieces carried in succession therethrough. The furnace is of modular construction and comprises a series of contiguous individual modular sections that define a tunnel-type enclosure. Each modular section comprises a stationary lower enclosure section and an assembled vertically retractable upper enclosure section. The upper enclosure sections are supported along opposite sides by a plurality of spaced, free-standing lifting devices. A screw-jack is associated with each lifting device for raising and lowering the upper enclosure sections relative to the lower enclosure sections. The upper enclosure sections may be raised and lowered individually or joined together and moved as a unit.

    Abstract: An apparatus for precisely locating a windshield at the take-off end of a conveyor for subsequent removal by a transfer apparatus. The locating apparatus includes a carriage having a lift device for raising the windshield off the conveyor up to a predetermined level. The carriage also is provided with a slide for moving the elevated windshield horizontally in a first direction against a first stop. The carriage is then actuated to move the windshield in a direction normal to the first direction against a second stop oriented 90.degree. from the first stop.

    Abstract: An apparatus for positioning an interleave on a finished sheet product prior to transferring and depositing the latter in a stacked relation. The apparatus includes a stripper means for removing the lowermost interleave from a stack of such interleaves and advancing the same on a conveyor arrangement to a pick-up station whereat the interleave is raised into engagement with a pair of gripping arms of a reciprocal shuttle. The shuttle transports the interleave to a forward position in vertically spaced relation to the sheet product for subsequent deposit thereon prior to removal of the sheet article along with the overlying interleave by a transfer apparatus.

    Abstract: Apparatus including a pair of opposed conveyor belts for feeding a plurality of superimposed continuous sheets of refrigerated, thermoplastic material. The active runs of the conveyor belts are guided over platens movable toward and away from each other in a direction normal to the path of movement of the sheet material to generate the necessary tractive forces required to advance the sheet material between the conveyor belts. The platens distribute the tractive forces uniformly over a large sheet contacting area of the belts to prevent cracking and rupturing of the sheet material. Means are provided for compressing the spaced-apart clamping assemblies of a frame assembly to which the sheets are attached for further processing.
