  • Patent number: 10533717
Abstract: A drone landing system includes a solar collector to charge the drone at a landing cite of the drone landing system. The solar collector may include a solar collector mounting assembly, preferably comprises a bi-facial solar active component mounted with its solar active face(s) orthogonal to the ground/horizon, at or near its perimeter frame.

  • Publication number: 20150162867
Abstract: Improved solar energy system including an improved solar collector mounting assembly, preferably comprises a bi-facial solar active component mounted with its solar active face(s) orthogonal to the ground/horizon, at or near its perimeter frame. According to certain embodiments, the mounting assembly allows the fin to oscillate with respect to a fixed mounting position in response to displacing forces. Additionally, the solar energy system may be utilized to retrofit an existing energy operating system, wherein the solar powered system can interact in a hybrid fashion with the existing energy source of the retrofitted system.

  • Publication number: 20030002007
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, a portable device is defined for storing and managing data accessed by a user. The portable device includes a microprocessor, memory, a display for text or graphics, and a QWERTY keyboard. The QWERTY keyboard is split into a left subset and a right subset that are complementary halves to a full or partial QWERTY key set. The preferred embodiment arranges the left keyboard subset in a sweeping arc centered about the lower left corner of the device and the right keyboard subset in a complementary sweeping arc about the right lower corner of the device. The left and right halves are spatially positioned with the left complementary subset to the left of the display, and the right complementary subset to the right of the display. The resulting device improves the ergonomics and usability of a portable handheld communication device.
