  • Publication number: 20200018514
Abstract: A terminal device housing includes a backplate and a front cover. The backplate is attachable to a mounting surface. A display is supported by the front cover. The backplate and front cover are formed with installation engagement elements that allow the front cover to be releasably attached to the backplate as the backplate is wired and mounted to the mounting surface. Following wiring and mounting of the backplate, the front cover is detached from the mounted backplate. Engagement structures formed on the backplate and front cover allow the front cover to be attached to the mounted rear cover to define a terminal device housing.

  • Patent number: 8167825
Abstract: A method of hysteretic palpatory training includes providing a wire or a computer controlled actuator having a plunger that hysteretically resists the application of a palpatory force. An increasing palpatory force is applied in a first direction to the wire or the plunger, whereupon the wire or plunger hysteretically resist displacement from a first position to a second position. The palpatory force is then withdrawn whereupon the elasticity of wire or the elasticity emulated by the plunger causes it to return to a position intermediate the first and second positions. The applied palpatory force versus displacement in response to applying and withdrawing the palpatory force to the wire or the plunger is then detected.

  • Patent number: 7927298
Abstract: A force applied to the foot of a patient causes the foot to rotate inwardly. After measuring the rotational displacement of the foot inwardly as the function of the applied force, the force is removed and the displacement of the foot is measured again. Next, a force is applied to the foot of the patient that causes the foot to rotate outwardly. After measuring the rotational displacement of the foot outwardly as a function of the applied force, the force is removed and the displacement of the foot is measured again. The displacements versus applied forces are plotted on a Cartesian coordinate system to produce a hysteresis curve. The data obtained and the hysteresis curve produced therefrom provides a quantitative measure of the motion quality and motion quantity of the foot and its corresponding ankle and is subject to detailed analytic and medical analysis.

  • Patent number: 7727170
Abstract: An apparatus for elastic hysteretic palpatory training includes a wire or a computer controlled actuator having a plunger that at least partially elastically resists the application of a palpatory force. In use of the apparatus, an increasing palpatory force is applied to an end of the wire transverse to its axis or an end of the plunger of the actuator in a first direction. In response to the applied palpatory force, the wire or the plunger elastically resist displacement from a first position to a second position. The palpatory force is then withdrawn whereupon the elasticity of wire or the elasticity emulated by the plunger causes it to return toward the first position. The applied palpatory force versus displacement is detected in response to applying and withdrawing the palpatory force to the wire or the plunger.

  • Patent number: 7334381
Abstract: A system for packaging a flat panel product includes a dispensing device for dispensing a length of inner protective packaging material, a folding table for wrapping the inner protective packaging material around the product and folding an outer protective packaging material around the product, and a binding device for binding the outer packaging material, inner packaging material, and product together, suspending the product relative to at least one of the walls of the sidewall and supporting the product laterally. A data entry device provides data related to the length of inner protective packaging material required, and this data is fed to a controller, which controls the dispensing device to provide an appropriate length of material. The data entry device can also provide shipping information, fed to a printer for printing a shipping label.
