  • Patent number: 10598816
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include systems and methods of correcting induction logging data for relative dip. Initial induction logging data is measured at a plurality of frequencies. One example embodiment includes displaying dip corrected data for a plurality of different relative dip angles, which may further be displayed with a qualitative indicator displayed over many depth samples for selecting or validating a correct relative dip angle. The data may be iteratively processed using an automated relative dip correction algorithm and analyzed by the user to obtain and apply the best relative dip correction angle to induction logging data. Once dip corrected, the induction logging data can be used with resistivity methodologies generally designed for instances where no dip is present in the formation under analysis.

  • Publication number: 20200090272
Abstract: Embodiments of the transmission latency leveling apparatuses, methods and systems provide an electronic bidding order management infrastructure, such as a “point-of-presence,” which receives and routes electronic trading orders from different trading entities at a server via a transmission medium to create a certain amount of transmission latency before the trading orders could arrive at and be executed at electronic exchanges to reduce latency arbitrage and/or order book arbitrage that may be experienced by high frequency trading participants. A similar transmission latency may be applied to the egress transmission of market data updates issued by an electronic exchange. Other techniques for facilitating electronic trading are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10594049
Abstract: A connector includes a cable tray configured to receive and retain a cable in a stable position and couple with a top cap configured to create an electrical connection with the cable as the top cap is manipulated in a predetermined manner while coupled with the cable tray. An upper surface of the cable tray is configured to receive the cable (e.g., while the cable is generally parallel with the longitudinal axis of the cable tray). The cable tray also includes a finger extending beyond the first end for some distance longitudinally. The finger includes a protrusion that protrudes to some extent in a transverse direction so that a cable-accommodating gap is defined between the protrusion and the first end. The protrusion is configured to bear against the cable and retain the cable in the stable position when the cable is inserted between the protrusion and the first end (before, during and/or after an electrical connection is established).

  • Patent number: 10592328
Abstract: Data, attributes, and metrics from unavailable resource hosts may be collected and used for cluster analysis in order to correlate the different hosts and group similar hosts into clusters. The clusters may be ranked based on the collected information and used to provide a simple way to identify shared failure modes among the unavailable hosts. By identifying the hosts of each cluster, shared failures can be corrected for large groups of hosts at the same time, enabling the hosts to return to operational states.

  • Publication number: 20200082133
Abstract: An industrial vehicle comprising a tag reader, a reader module, and a diagnostic tag, wherein the diagnostic tag is coupled to the industrial truck within a read range of the tag reader. The reader module and the tag reader cooperate to identify the diagnostic tag and individual tags of a tag layout and the reader module discriminates between the individual tags of the tag layout and the diagnostic tag and the individual tags of the tag layout, correlates an identified individual tag of the tag layout with tag data, correlates an identified diagnostic tag with operation of the tag reader, and generates a missing tag signal if the diagnostic tag is not identified or the operation of the tag reader is not within specified operating parameters.

  • Patent number: 10587550
Abstract: Systems, device and techniques are disclosed for evaluating domains to send emails while maintaining sender reputation. Registration records of a domain are retrieved. The registration records include a mail server record and one or more records linking the domain to another domain or to an IP address. The mail server record is verified to be associated with a domain that is not on a black list. A webpage is retrieved from a website associated with the one or more records linking the domain to another domain or to an IP address. The webpage is compared to webpages for websites that are on white lists. An electronic communications sending strategy is determined based on verifying that the mail server record is associated with a domain that is not on a blacklist and comparing of the webpage to webpages for websites that are on one or more white lists.

  • Patent number: 10579123
Abstract: A method and a management server located in the cloud, for enabling adaptive power management in a gateway system, are described. The management server receives, from the gateway system powered by a rechargeable battery that is coupled with a solar power source, a location measurement indicating the location of the gateway system at a first time. The management server determines a solar profile indicating a measure of the power expected to be generated by the solar power source at the location during an interval of time that occurs after the first time. The management server transmits the solar profile to the gateway system causing the gateway system to determine based on a current battery level of the rechargeable battery and the solar profile an optimal power usage plan for the gateway system and to operate according to the optimal power usage plan during the interval of time.
