The onboard controller is configured to transmit instructions to control the plurality of pool pad devices, receive data from the external sensing device, and transmit the received data to one of a server or a remote user device.

    Abstract: A variable speed pumping system coupled to a fluid circuit of an aquatic application is provided. The system includes a motor, a variable speed drive in electrical communication with the motor, and a housing designed to substantially enclose the motor and the variable speed drive. The housing includes a drive cover extending over the variable speed drive and an end cover. A controller is configured to provide control of the variable speed drive. An electrical communication assembly is in communication with the controller and contained underneath the end cover. The electrical communication assembly includes an RS-485 terminal block, and a selectively removable IO expansion module sized and shaped to be received into a receptable of the drive cover. The IO expansion module has a module cover and a module circuit board, and the module circuit board includes a plurality of relay terminal blocks and a plurality of digital input terminals.

The system is configured to: allocate at least one task memory transaction quota to at least a first set of tasks executed on a first core of the processor; allocate at least one compute processor memory transaction quota for executing the kernels on the compute processor; execute within a first timing window iteration the first set of tasks and the kernels, wherein the kernels are executed during the first timing window iteration until the compute memory transaction quota is depleted; and regulate a rate of memory transaction access by the one or more kernels to the memory when the first set of tasks are executing on the processor.

The system further includes at least one nozzle connected to the gas source, wherein the at least on nozzle is aimed in a nozzle direction that is towards the removal path at a pitch, such that the nozzle is non-perpendicular towards the removal path. The nozzle further directs a continuous stream of the heated gas towards the coated optical fiber causing the coating of the coated optical fiber to be removed. The methods and systems may employ a second nozzle that may be offset from the first nozzle angularly and/or laterally with respect to the removal path.
