  • Patent number: 10505996
Abstract: A system to identify and leverage geographically proximate client devices to reduce network traffic associated with facilitating digital collaboration sessions in a real-world environment. Embodiments enable a user to initiate a digital collaboration session and to limit participation in the digital collaboration session to client devices that are physically located within a geofence (e.g., a virtual geographic boundary). Other client devices that are located within the geofence are identified and enabled to join the digital collaboration session. participants may each use their own client device to contribute to the digital collaboration session. Participants can save individual segments of the digital collaboration session by indicating an interest immediately after the segments occur. Client devices then upload data for the segment for enhancement.

  • Publication number: 20180307751
Abstract: Described herein is a system for recommending music using a music taste profile. The music taste profile includes information about musical taste of a particular user that can be used to provide music recommendation(s) targeted to that particular user. The system includes a recommendation component that makes a music recommendation(s) based on the music taste profile. The recommendation component can utilize an algorithm to make the music recommendation. With consent of the user, a music taste profile modification component can modify the music taste profile based on an inference from information regarding a music-related interest of the user received from a source (e.g., information obtained about a web browsing search history of the user, signal(s) provided by a digital assistant regarding information requested by the user and/or from a home automation device).

  • Publication number: 20140011146
Abstract: An acoustic system having a plurality of speakers applying acoustic energy as a series of acoustic waves to various target sites on the exterior of the reactor to vibrate and deflect the interior surfaces of the reactor structure such that the slag is dislodged from the internal surfaces of the reactor structure. Each speaker generates acoustic waves having a waveform corresponding to the resonant frequency of the ash crystallized on the reactor structures. The acoustic waves induce vibrations and/or deflections in the portion of the reactor wall to which the slag is engaged as well as the slag itself breaking the interstitial bonds of the slag deposit and bonding holding the slag to the wall. The separated or disintegrated slag can then be gravimetrically fall to the bottom of the reactor for removal from the reactor.

  • Patent number: 6848631
Abstract: A fluid flow device in one embodiment comprising a housing having an aperture or a plurality of apertures therein and in another embodiment a single chamber with a piston such as a flexible member forming a chamber and a vibratory member for vibrating the flexible member to simultaneously eject an array of laminar flow fluid vortices that coalesce with each other to form a larger fluid vortex that can be used for direct cooling or for inducing circulation of a cooling fluid within an enclosure to cool the components within the system. When used within a closed system the inventor provides a zero net flux device as the fluid contained within a sealed chamber can be stirred, or mixed, without the introduction of fresh fluid from the outside the system.
