  • Publication number: 20240055130
Abstract: A method for identifying physiological states of a patient includes receiving, by a hemodynamic monitor, sensed hemodynamic data representative of an arterial pressure waveform of the patient; performing, by the hemodynamic monitor, waveform analysis of the hemodynamic data to determine a plurality of profiling parameters; extracting, by the hemodynamic monitor, a patient data segment comprising a patient data set for a first profiling parameter of the plurality of profiling parameters; comparing, by the hemodynamic monitor, the patient data segment to a plurality of stored data segments from a database, each of the plurality of stored data segments having an associated stored discrete state data set indicative of whether a clinical intervention was administered and a stored data set for the first profiling parameter; identifying, by the hemodynamic monitor, a plurality of stored data segments satisfying threshold similarity criteria with respect to the patient data segment; and displaying, by the hemodynamic

  • Publication number: 20240008749
Abstract: A hemodynamic monitor for detecting nociception of a patient includes a non-invasive blood pressure sensor with an inflatable blood pressure bladder, a pressure controller pneumatically connected to the inflatable blood pressure bladder, and an optical transmitter and an optical receiver that are electrically connected to the pressure controller. The hemodynamic monitor also includes an integrated hardware unit with a system processor, a system memory, and a display with a user interface.

  • Publication number: 20220212445
Abstract: A composite panel structure of a polymer matrix cote sandwiched by metal layers is described. The polymer matrix comprises 1-30 wt % fluoropolymer and 70-99 wt % of a flame retardant mineral. The fluoropolymer may be polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) with a high limiting oxygen index, which confers fire resistance properties to the polymer matrix and the composite panel structure. The composite panel structure may be used on the exterior of buildings and may fulfill building code requirements for the polymer matrix core being noncombustible as determined by ASTM E136 and CAN/ULC S114 compliance.

  • Patent number: 5351926
Abstract: A load support system includes a support beam. The support beam extends along a longitudinal axis and has two outwardly facing generally U-shaped framing channels separated by a web. The ratio of the depth of at least one framing channel to the height of said web is approximately 2. A support beam with at least one of the framing channels having this ratio has several advantages. It is stronger and provides for a larger variety of attachment devices to be inserted. Further, when used with respect to various channel support systems, additional support is provided under certain loading conditions.

  • Patent number: 5314156
Abstract: A load supporting structure includes a support beam and a lateral brace. The support beam extends along a longitudinal axis and has two outwardly facing side channels. Each side channel is defined by two flanks and a web. Apertures in the web permit the braces to be secured to the support beam. The structure of the support beam and side channels provide a versatile and secure system that may be supported from a vertical upper location.
