    Abstract: A spin finish composition for textile fibre or yarn including a lubricant and antistatic agent, optionally an additional emulsifier and an antioxidant, in which the antistatic agent is an N,N'-dialkylamino alcohol alkoxylate. The finish is less prone to coking of heater plates in yarn texturing machines.
