The drive rod, handle, and clutch each have a channel transporting a twisted wire strand from the electrodes to a connector. The retaining member (11) is partially filled with dough which is allowed to rise prior to assembly. Thus, the mold (10) serves to produce a sandwich roll having an enclosed cylindrical sandwich component cavity.
