  • Patent number: 11985411
Abstract: An intelligent imaging device determines an occlusion of a shutter mechanism. The shutter mechanism opens to expose light to an image sensor, and the shutter mechanism closes to block the light from entering the image sensor. However, as the shutter mechanism transitions between full open and full close, the shutter mechanism is partially open and exposing the light to the image sensor. The image sensor continues generating images during these transitions, thus possibly revealing personal/sensitive data. The intelligent imaging device determines the shutter mechanism is partially open by conducting a real time, frame-by-frame content analysis. The intelligent imaging device may then disable an interface to the image sensor to avoid sharing personal/sensitive data. Even if the shutter mechanism is manually operated, the intelligent imaging device implements a visual/audible warning to warn a user that the shutter mechanism is not completely open or closed.

  • Publication number: 20240109799
Abstract: It is a continuing goal to reduce the amount of sludge produced in a biorefinery while also improving oil quality and water quality. In one aspect, an exemplary method of minimizing sludge from biorefineries includes the steps of feeding a source feedstock into a degumming centrifuge, where the source feedstock is separated into wet oil and a primary sludge stream, and conveying a portion of the primary sludge stream to a three-phase centrifuge. At the three-phase centrifuge, the portion of the primary sludge stream is separated into recovered centrifuge oil, which is retrieved; centrifuged water, which is conveyed to a wastewater treatment plant; and centrifuged sludge. The remainder of the primary sludge stream is conveyed to a gravity separator, where the remainder of the primary sludge stream is separated into recovered oil and residual sludge. The residual oil is retrieved from the gravity separator.

  • Patent number: 11948694
Abstract: Mechanisms are provided for compartmental epidemiological computer modeling based on mobility data. Machine learning training of an isolation rate prediction computer model is performed to generate a trained isolation rate prediction model that predicts an isolation rate of a biological population. Isolation data is received which comprises data indicating a measure of mobility of the biological population. The trained isolation rate prediction model is executed on input features extracted from the isolation data to generate a predicted isolation rate. A compartmental epidemiological computer model, comprising a plurality of compartments representing states of a population with regard to an infectious disease, is executed to simulate a progression of the infectious disease and flows of portions of the population from between compartments in the compartmental epidemiological computer model are controlled based on the predicted isolation rate.

  • Patent number: 11949668
Abstract: A method may include receiving, from a user device, a registration request that includes a subscription concealed identifier (SUCI), identifying a network element to decode the SUCI and forwarding the SUCI to the identified network element. The method may also include decoding the SUCI to identify a subscription permanent identifier (SUPI), identifying a unified data management (UDM) device associated with the SUPI and transmitting an authentication request to the identified UDM device to obtain authentication information associated with the user device. The method may further include receiving the authentication information and authenticating the user device based on the received authentication information.

  • Patent number: 11914498
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for deploying a web application including a plurality of binary objects. The methods may include isolating from the plurality of class files a class file in which a run-time behavior occurs. The methods may include updating the class file to produce a modified class file that does not have the behavior. The methods may include testing performance of the modified class file. The methods may include storing the class file in a dynamic configuration database. The methods may include recognizing the modified class file as being modified. The methods may include, using a cron job processor, reading the metadata. The methods may include compiling the modified class file into binary code. • Patent number: 8401880
Abstract: A computer network may include a host computer and a plurality of computer workstations selectively connectable thereto at which user work sessions may be initiated. Each computer workstation when disconnected from the host computer (e.g., due to server outage, etc.) may advantageously initiate a user session responsive to a user request and store session information for updating the respective user account balance when reconnected with the host computer. Additionally, when the computer workstations are connected to the host computer they may copy respective user account balances from the host computer upon initiation of user sessions, and update the copied account balances based upon computer usage during the respective user sessions. The computer network may also include at least one reservation computer for cooperating with the host computer to schedule user session reservations and provide a requesting user an estimated time before a user session will be made available.
