Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for positioning of a device of interest within a merchant environment. In this regard, embodiments of a computer implemented method for positioning of a device of interest within a merchant environment are disclosed. In one embodiment, the computer implemented method comprises obtaining positions of a plurality of mobile merchant devices within a merchant environment, obtaining data indicative of a relative position of a device of interest relative to one or more of the plurality of mobile merchant devices, and computing a position of the device of interest within the merchant environment based on the data indicative of the relative position of the device of interest relative to the one or more of the plurality of mobile merchant devices and positions of the one or more of the plurality of mobile merchant devices.

Abstract: A blade guard and lifter therefor surround the saw blade, interlocking when raised by a workpiece as a result of relative movement caused by a secondary linkage. Two pair of primary linkages pivotally connect the blade guard to the splitter. The dual secondary linkage pivotally attaches the parallel plates of the lifter to one of the two pivot points of the primary linkages. Any lifting force is resisted by the rigidity of the primary link that does not share a pivot point with the secondary linkage. A dust collector can be provided to the table saw to minimize respiratory hazards.

Abstract: A bifurcated holdown shoe for radial arm saw mounted to the saw guard of the radial arm saw such that the lower surface of the holdown shoe is mounted at a distance above the radial arm saw saw table corresponding to the height of a work piece to pass underneath the holdown shoe and be cut by the radial arm saw. The holdown shoe includes an arm portion which is bifurcated into two arms separated by a channel. A portion of the saw blade is held within the channel. The holdown shoe holds a work piece vertically steady against the saw table immediately adjacent the saw blade during a rip-cut, thus reducing the occurrence of kick-back.

Abstract: A precision adjustable saw table adapted for use with a radial arm saw includes a cutting table slidably mounted to the base table of the radial arm saw. Adjusters are mounted to the base table and are adapted to precisely and accurately position the cutting table in relation to the base table, and thus, the saw blade of the radial arm saw. A measurer is adapted to precisely and accurately measure the position of the cutting table in relation to the base table, and thus, the saw blade are mounted to the base table.
