  • Patent number: 11655818
Abstract: A compressor may include a shell, first and second scroll members, a floating seal, a muffler plate, and a wear ring. The shell defines a discharge chamber and a suction chamber. The floating seal may sealingly engage the second scroll member. The muffler plate defines the discharge chamber and the suction chamber. The wear ring may sealingly engage the muffler plate and the floating seal such that the wear ring, the muffler plate, and the floating seal fluidly isolate the discharge chamber from the suction chamber. The muffler plate may include an axially facing surface that contacts the wear ring. The axially facing surface may include an annular recess. The wear ring may at least partially cover the annular recess. The annular recess may provide clearance between the muffler plate and the wear ring to allow the wear ring to deflect relative to the muffler plate during compressor operation.

  • Patent number: 11516050
Abstract: Technologies are disclosed for monitoring network traffic using traffic mirroring. According to some examples, traffic mirroring allows customers to monitor traffic at different sources within a VPC. For example, a source may be any Elastic Network Interface (ENI) in their VPC, including elastic network interfaces (ENIs) on virtual machine instances, Network Address Translation (NAT) Gateways, Load Balancers, VPC endpoints, Internal Gateways, Transit Gateways, and more. Filters can be utilized to determine the network traffic to mirror. A customer may also configure to monitor real-time traffic with a monitoring appliance of their choice. With traffic mirroring, data traffic may be identified and sent to one or more target devices. Customers may monitor traffic within a VPC for content inspection, forensic analysis, troubleshooting, record keeping, and the like.

  • Publication number: 20210239113
Abstract: A compressor may include a shell assembly, a first scroll, a second scroll, a driveshaft, and a bearing. The first scroll includes a first end plate and a first spiral wrap extending from the first end plate. The second scroll includes a second end plate and a second spiral wrap extending from the second end plate. The spiral wraps engage each other to form fluid pockets. The driveshaft may engage one of the scrolls. The bearing supports the driveshaft for rotation relative to the shell assembly. The bearing includes first and second axial ends and an aperture extending through the first and second axial ends. The driveshaft extends through the aperture. The aperture is defined by an inner diametrical surface of the bearing. The inner diametrical surface may include a tapered portion that extends radially outward as the tapered portion extends axially toward the first axial end of the bearing.

  • Patent number: 9248960
Abstract: A dual-tank liquid storage tank system comprises a lined primary storage tank disposed within a lined secondary tank. Construction of the system involves rolling out a secondary tank liner over an engineered base course, and then laying out a primary tank liner over the secondary tank liner, with an outer portion of the primary tank liner rolled up to fit within the primary tank perimeter. The primary tank's perimeter wall is then assembled from wall panels resting on the secondary tank liner, and then the primary tank liner rolled out and deployed over the primary tank wall. An outer portion of the secondary tank liner is then rolled up toward the primary tank wall, and the secondary tank's perimeter wall is assembled from wall panels resting on the base course. The secondary tank liner is then rolled out and deployed over the secondary tank wall.
