  • Publication number: 20240087019
Abstract: A method of trading electrical energy is provided. The method comprises a smart agent receiving state data affecting electricity usage within an electrical power grid over a specified time period and forecasting, with a supply/demand model, supply and demand for electricity within the power grid according to the state data. The smart agent uses a reinforced learning neural network to calculate a price for electricity according the state data and forecasted supply and demand. The smart agent submits an order to a matching engine to buy or sell electricity on the power grid at the calculated price according to specified market rules. The smart engine receives an acknowledgment from the matching engine if the order is matched to another agent on the power grid or a rejection from the matching engine if the order is not matched to another agent.

  • Publication number: 20230346061
Abstract: Flame resistant fabrics that comply with applicable thermal requirements (e.g., char length, after flame, thermal shrinkage, etc.) but only include thermally stable fibers in yarns extending in a single fabric direction (warp or weft). The yarns extending in the other direction (warp or weft) are devoid of thermally stable fibers.

  • Publication number: 20230309874
Abstract: A point-of-care diagnostic system that includes a cartridge and a reader. The cartridge can contain a patient sample, such as a blood sample. The cartridge is inserted into the reader and the patient sample is analyzed. The reader contains various analysis systems, such as an electrophoresis detection system that uses electrophoresis testing to identify and quantify various components of the blood sample. The reader can process data from the various patient sample analysis to provide interpretative results indicative of a disorder, condition, disease and/or infection of the patient.

  • Patent number: 10938332
Abstract: A control system that includes a converter circuit and a control device is disclosed. The converter circuit may be configured to control a phase current of a switched reluctance machine. The control device may be configured to determine an estimated flux based on a bus voltage, a phase voltage, and a mutual voltage. The control device may be configured to determine a flux threshold based on the phase current, and determine a first limit and a second limit relative to the flux threshold. The first limit and the second limit may be scaled relative to the flux threshold based on one or more of the target speed, the load demand, or the bus voltage. The control device may be configured to compare the estimated flux with the first limit, and reset the estimated flux to the second limit based on determining that the estimated flux satisfies the first limit.
