  • Publication number: 20240390832
Abstract: An apparatus and methods are provided for a filtered cap air filter configured to be coupled with an air intake system of an internal combustion engine. The filtered cap air filter comprises a filter medium that is retained between a base and a filtered cap. The filter medium and the filtered cap are fabricated to remove contaminants and particulate matter from an intake airstream. In some embodiments, the filter medium and filtered cap may be configured to be treated with a filter oil composition to enhance air cleaning properties of the filter media. Wire supports may be incorporated into the filter medium and filtered cap to provide additional strength and durability to the filtered cap air filter. The base includes a flange and an opening that form an airtight connection between the filtered cap air filter and an air intake duct of the air intake system.

  • Publication number: 20240256244
Abstract: A multi-cloud system permits installation of software by an independent software vendor (ISV) in different manners, such as within a user space of an organization tenant of the multi-cloud system, a space of the ISV within the multi-cloud system, or a space of the multi-cloud system itself. Packaging and installation functionality of the multi-cloud system performs necessary configurations so that an ISV can simply specify how its code is to be made available to users via the multi-cloud system, without itself needing to create different configurations depending on the desired manner of usage.

  • Publication number: 20240254760
Abstract: A method of providing fire protection to a structure includes the step of installing an intumescent mesh on a surface of the structure such that the intumescent mesh is exposed to outdoor environmental conditions. The intumescent mesh includes a mesh with a series of openings and an intumescent coating applied to the flexible grid such that air can pass through the openings in the intumescent mesh. The intumescent coating includes expandable graphite and a polymer-based carrier; and the intumescent coating does not degrade when exposed the outdoor environmental conditions. The intumescent coating remains flexible and resists cracking and spalling from the flexible grid.

  • Publication number: 20240209817
Abstract: An apparatus and methods are provided for an air cleaner to be mounted onto an air inlet of an internal combustion engine. The air cleaner comprises an air filter that includes a filter medium disposed between a curved base and a cover. The curved base provides an interface between the air filter and the air inlet, and comprises a shape that provides clearance between the curved base and an electric choke installed onto a carburetor comprising the air inlet. The cover secures the air filter and the curved base to the air inlet such that an airstream is drawn through the filter medium and is conducted into the air inlet. A raised portion of the cover is configured to cooperate with the curved base to ensure a desired volume of the airstream is available to the air inlet at substantially all engine speeds.

  • Publication number: 20240209818
Abstract: A filter oil composition and a method for removing airborne molecular contaminants from air are provided. The composition includes a first portion comprising paraffinic oil by volume of the composition, a second portion comprising polyalphaolefin by volume of the composition, and a third portion comprising red dye by volume of the composition. Applying the filter oil composition to a cotton air filter material causes tackiness throughout the air filter material, thereby enhancing filtration of air passing through the filter. The composition generally is substantially non-reactive, has excellent oxidation stability, possesses good thermal stability, and retains a suitable viscosity at a normal operating temperature of an automobile engine. In an embodiment, the composition comprises 96.74% paraffinic oil by volume, 3.20% polyalphaolefin by volume, and 0.06% red dye by volume. The viscosity of the composition at 100 degrees-C. ranges between substantially 7.2 and 7.6 centistokes (cSTs).

  • Publication number: 20240139386
Abstract: A method for controlling generation of biologically desirable voids in a composition placed in proximity to bone or other tissue in a patient by selecting at least one water-soluble inorganic material having a desired particle size and solubility, and mixing the water-soluble inorganic material with at least one poorly-water-soluble or biodegradable matrix material. The matrix material, after it is mixed with the water-soluble inorganic material, is placed into the patient in proximity to tissue so that the water-soluble inorganic material dissolves at a predetermined rate to generate biologically desirable voids in the matrix material into which bone or other tissue can then grow.
