    Abstract: An electronic assembly for securing a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card includes: a printed circuit board (PCB) having opposed first and second sides and defining an aperture extending from the first side to the second side; and a SIM card holder comprising a base received in the aperture, electrical connectors located in the base and having a first end connected to the first side of the PCB and a second end opposite to the first end, contacts located on the second side of the PCB and connected to the second end of the electrical connectors, the contacts configured for interfacing with corresponding contacts of the SIM card, and a card retaining member attached to the second side of the PCB for releasably securing the SIM card attached to the second side of the PCB.
