  • Publication number: 20240315326
Abstract: An aerosol smoking system includes a mouthpiece and a thermal bubble jet technology aerosol generation apparatus, wherein the aerosol generation apparatus is configured with a die located on its outer periphery, the mouthpiece is configured to be removably mountable on the outer periphery of the aerosol generation apparatus, by sliding the mouthpiece over the die on the outer periphery to an operating position. The mouthpiece further includes a wiper that protrudes from the mouthpiece on a side facing the die when the mouthpiece in mounted on the outer periphery, and the wiper is configured to wipe fluid from the die during the sliding of the mouthpiece before the mouthpiece reaches the operating position.

  • Publication number: 20240245133
Abstract: An aerosol generating device comprises an atomizer configured to generate aerosol from a vaporizable material; an airflow path configured to conduct an airflow between an air inlet and an air outlet; a heater arranged in the airflow path and being separated from the atomizer; a temperature sensor; and a microcontroller. The airflow path comprises an upstream portion extending between the air inlet and the atomizer, and a downstream portion extending between the atomizer and the air outlet. The temperature sensor is arranged in the downstream portion of the airflow path and is configured to generate temperature measurements relative to the temperature of the airflow passing through the downstream portion, and the microcontroller is configured to operate the heater according to those temperature measurements.

  • Publication number: 20240245115
Abstract: An inhalation device (10), in particular an electronic cigarette, has at least one liquid jet device (24), such as a micro heater or resistor, to produce liquid drops on demand, wherein a hollow needle (40) is mounted on the liquid jet device (24). A cartridge (16) has at least one first septum (54) sealing Around the needle (40) of the inhalation device (10). Further, the invention relates to a method of conveying liquid drops in an inhalation device (10) as a liquid jet, such as by means of at least one liquid jet device (24), in particular a micro heater or resistor, in combination with a hollow needle (40) mounted on the liquid jet device (24).

  • Publication number: 20240196976
Abstract: An inhalation device with at least one liquid jet device for producing drops of a liquid on demand, the liquid jet device has a fluid chamber, an ejection nozzle and a supply channel embedded in a substrate. The inhalation device further includes an air conduit and a mixing chamber in which air from said air conduit is mixed with the generated liquid drops. The air conduit includes at least two heating elements arranged to pre-heat the air guided by the air conduit from a respective air inlet orifice into the mixing chamber.
