Abstract: A wall mount towel bar assembly provides a wall mount bracket adapted to be mounted to a planar surface. A threaded shaft is supported upon the wall mount bracket for rotation relative to the wall mount bracket. A sleeve is in threaded engagement with the threaded shaft with a sleeve aperture formed therein. A bar is received for translation in the sleeve aperture. Rotation of the threaded shaft locks the bar in the sleeve to maintain a position of the bar within the sleeve.

Abstract: A system with an interactive user interface for users to view and interact with sanitized log data received from a plurality of hosts, such as those associated with various services of an organization. The system may receive from hosts log files and/or metadata that have been filtered by agents executing on the respective hosts to remove or anonymize any sensitive or confidential information prior to transmission to the system. In some embodiments the system does further filtering of the sanitized data. Received sanitized data is parsed, indexed, and/or otherwise processed for optimal searching, and stored in a log pipeline. The system causes display of an electronic visualization interface.

Abstract: Methods and systems for facilitating a digital wallet transaction are described herein. A service provider identifies and recommends the most applicable digital wallets for a user based on various factors, such as user location, type and amount of purchase, type of merchant, and/or mood of the user. The service provider may also rank the recommended digital wallets and/or determine how many should be presented to a user. During merchant checkout, the user is presented with the recommended digital wallets, and the user selects one of the digital wallets to fund the purchase.

Abstract: A processing system including at least one processor may capture a video of a preparation area for a consumable item, may identify at least one item in the video, the at least one item comprising at least one of: at least one ingredient of the consumable item, or at least one tool for preparing the consumable item, and may identify annotation content for the at least one item. The processing system may then modify the video to generate a modified video that includes a visual marker associated with the annotation content and present the modified video via a device associated with a user to be served the consumable item.

Abstract: A portable electronic device can include a display, a processor, a sensor, and a wireless communication module. The sensor can detect a presence of an operable object near the portable electronic device. The processor can cause the display to depict an interface corresponding to the operable object based at least in part on a detection of the presence of the operable object. The wireless communication module can emit a signal instructing the operable object to perform an action based at least in part on an input to the interface.

Abstract: A power semiconductor device includes a silicon carbide substrate and has at least a first layer or region formed above the substrate. The silicon carbide substrate has a pattern of pits formed thereon. The power semiconductor device further includes an ohmic metal disposed at least in the pits to form low-resistance ohmic contacts. Each pit of the pattern of pits has a depth that extends short of the first layer.

Abstract: A subsea wet-mateable connector handle has a handle part, a bushing support ring, a resilient bushing, a connector mount and a securing pin. A method of manufacturing a subsea wet-mateable connector handle includes cutting a handle part from a sheet of inherently corrosion resistant metal plate by a two-dimensional cutting process. A bushing support ring and a bushing are assembled onto a limb extending from the handle part. A connector mount is mounted to the bushing and the connector mount and bushing are fixed to the handle part with the securing pin.

Abstract: A method of dispensing a plug can include deploying the plug into a tubular string including a plug dispenser tool, and applying a pressure differential across the plug, thereby discharging the plug into an annulus surrounding the plug dispenser tool. A plug dispenser tool can include an outer housing having a plug discharge port that provides fluid communication between an exterior of the outer housing and a flow passage extending longitudinally through the plug dispenser tool, and a piston slidably disposed in the outer housing between a closed position in which the piston blocks fluid flow through the plug discharge port, and an open position in which fluid flow through the plug discharge port is permitted. A system can include a plug dispenser tool configured to discharge the plug into an annulus surrounding the plug dispenser tool in response to a predetermined pressure differential applied across the plug.

Abstract: A new measurement approach is disclosed that facilitates significantly smaller size, weight, and power (SWaP) spaceborne radar systems that can provide wide swath, high resolution observations. Multiple beams employed in the scan and the complex volume and/or surface backscatter signals of each beam is recorded. Each beam is electronically swept in azimuth where each beam is held at a constant incidence angle over the azimuth sector that covers the swath. Once the sweep is complete, the platform moves forward, by one along track pixel, and the sweep is repeated in order to provide continuous mapping of the volume and surface covered by the swath. Complex volume backscatter is recorded and mapped to each altitude layer to provide full mapping of the atmosphere.

Abstract: A working element operable to expand an end of a tube includes a main body configured to rotate about an axis, a plurality of roller supports movably coupled to the main body, the roller supports movable relative to the main body between a retracted position and an expanded position, and a plurality of rollers coupled to the roller supports such that a distance between a first roller of the plurality of rollers and a second roller of the plurality of rollers increases when the roller supports move toward the expanded position. The rollers are configured to be inserted into the end of the tube when the roller supports are in the retracted position, and the rollers are engageable with an inner circumference of the tube when the main body rotates about the axis to expand the end of the tube.

Abstract: A method for producing renewable diesel includes introducing a primary feedstock comprising biologically-derived triglycerides with catalyst poisons into a first reaction chamber and hydrolyzing the primary feedstock within the first reaction and liquid-liquid extraction chamber for at least an hour such that the reacted triglycerides are separated into an aqueous solution comprising glycerol and catalyst poisons, and an intermediate feedstock comprising free fatty acids and catalyst poisons. The method also includes distilling the intermediate feedstock to separate the intermediate feedstock into a purified intermediate stream and a lower volume bottom stream containing unreacted triglyceride, diglyceride, monoglyceride, FFA and catalyst poisons. The method also includes combining the purified intermediate feedstock with a hydrogen stream and converting, in a second reaction chamber comprising a metallic catalyst bed, the purified intermediate feedstock into a product comprising long-chain alkanes.

Abstract: A drainage device, system, and method for draining moisture at a wall adjacent to and projecting from a floor is provided. An elongated body extends arcuately above the floor and is attached to the floor to define a channel between the elongated body and the floor for receiving moisture from proximate the wall at a rearward end of the elongated body. A barrier is proximate the wall and defines an opening to the wall adjacent to the floor that is dimensioned complementarily to the elongated body for receiving the elongated body therein. A rear flange at the rearward end is dimensioned to be captively received between the wall and a barrier via the opening for allowing the moisture between the barrier and the wall to drain into the channel via the rearward end. A sealant seals the rear flange to the barrier.

Abstract: An urban design pipeline automatically generates design options for an urban design project. The urban design pipeline includes a geometry engine and an evaluation engine. The geometry engine analyzes design criteria and design objectives associated with the urban design project and then generates numerous candidate designs that meet the design criteria and optimize the design objectives to varying degrees. The evaluation engine evaluates each candidate design to generate a set of metrics. The geometry engine modifies the candidate designs based on corresponding metrics to generate candidate designs that better meet the design criteria and more effectively achieve the design objectives.
