  • Patent number: 10488293
Abstract: A conductive geotextile for use in a leak detection system is disclosed. The conductive geotextile has a flexible substrate with a first face and a second face and a polymer layer laminated to the substrate. The polymer layer may be equal to or less than 0.006 inches thick and has a first face and a second face, with the second face adjacent to the first face of the substrate. The polymer layer has a conductive thin film coextruded onto a core, with the conductive film being at the first face of the polymer layer. The conductive thin film may be equal to or less than 0.003 inches thick and has a surface resistivity equal to or less than 4000 ohm per square.

  • Patent number: 9315318
Abstract: A liquid containment wall for a tank is formed by corrugated panels connected end to end and supported by upstanding brackets at spaced positions around the peripheral wall and a liner attached to the wall. Each panel has at each end an overlapping section with an array of aligned holes. The holes are connected by connector plates shaped and arranged to overlie a part of the array. Each plate has a plurality of shear pegs extending at right angles and at least one hole therethrough to receive a threaded bolt so that the bolt passes through a respective one of the aligned holes of the array to clamp the plate against the overlapping panels.

  • Publication number: 20080314901
Abstract: A method of securing elongated objects, such as weights or floats to a floating cover. A first step involves providing a sheet form substrate. A second step involves forming elongated retention pockets on the substrate. A third step involves inserting elongated objects into the elongated retention pockets. This method allows thinner lower cost substrates to be used, while still facilitating secure attachment of weights or floats.
