    Abstract: A health-ageing biomarker is provided which has utility in assessing the biological age of an individual. The biomarker has particular utility in the prediction of the likelihood of an individual developing an ageing-related disease, screening for anti-ageing drugs and to assist with the diagnosis of an ageing-related disease, or assessing the likelihood of an organ being successfully used or matched to a donor patient. Also presented are methods utilising the biomarker and methods of identifying such biomarkers.
