  • Patent number: 10826955
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, embodiments modifying attributes for media content (provided to subscribers to a media service) to include a giftable attribute, configured as giftable or not giftable. Further embodiments include determining that the giftable attribute configured as giftable responsive to receiving donor user input, which comprises an indication to gift the media content to a recipient. A donor user is a subscriber of the media service while a recipient is a non-subscriber. Additional embodiments include providing a deep uniform resource locator (URL) link (which accesses the media content) to a media device of the recipient. Further embodiments include receiving a request to access the media content responsive to the selecting of the deep URL, requesting registration information for the media service, and providing the media content to the media device responsive to receiving registration information. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20070213444
Abstract: A branched isobutylene-styrenic elastomer with a broad molecular weight distribution is disclosed comprising an interpolymer of an isoolefin monomer as isobutylene, a styrenic monomer such as p-methylstyrene, and a multiolefin such as divinylbenzene. The elastomer has improved green strength, relaxation characteristics, and processability in melt processing, while retaining excellent aging characteristics and barrier properties, and can be used in a blend with a linear isobutylene-p-alkylstyrene elastomer to improve processability of the linear elastomer. Also disclosed are a method for processing the linear elastomer with an effective amount of the branched elastomer to improve processability, and nanocomposites, curable compositions, cured compositions and useful articles formed from the branched elastomer and the linear-branched elastomer blends.

  • Publication number: 20070015853
Abstract: A nanocomposite of a halogenated elastomer and an inorganic, exfoliated clay, suitable for use as an air barrier, is disclosed. The halogenated elastomer can be a polymer comprising C4 to C7 isoolefin derived units, para-methylstyrene derived units, and para(halomethylstyrene) derived units, or can be a butyl-type rubber. The nanocomposite can be formed by contacting an aqueous slurry of inorganic clay with a polymer cement while agitating vigorously to form emulsions or micro-emulsions to intimately mix the inorganic clay and the elastomer. The nanocomposite so formed has improved air barrier properties and is suitable for use as an innerliner or innertube.

  • Publication number: 20060190337
Abstract: A manufacturer rebate-processing program uses a program administrator to implement the rebate program. A rebate program card is issued to consumers to identify the rebate-qualifying product. The consumer presents the card to the merchant when making a purchase. The purchase transaction information from the merchant is forwarded to the rebate program administrator, which in turn forwards a rebate request to the manufacturer for the rebate-qualifying product. The rebate-qualifying product may be a prescription drug or a non-prescription health-care-related item. The program administrator further identifies restricted-use accounts, such as health savings accounts, to pay a qualifying portion of the consumer purchase transaction. The program administrator receives rebate funds from the manufacturer and reconciles the consumer purchase transaction with the rebate funds from the manufacturer.
