  • Patent number: 11875326
Abstract: Systems and methods associated with media hub devices are provided that passively monitor user devices and transmit targeted media through in-channel transmissions that use the same channel used to monitor the user devices, or shifted channel transmissions that are different than the channel used to monitor the user devices. For example, a media hub device may passively monitor customer devices by scanning a wireless communication channel and obtaining device identification information transmitted by a user device that communicates the device identification information via the wireless communication channel. A media hub device may link the user device with a particular user or may anonymously monitor user behavior, through the monitored user device, without explicit knowledge of the identity of the user. Targeted media may be provided to the user device either in-channel using the same channel used to passively monitor the user device or a shifted channel using a different channel.

  • Patent number: 10643195
Abstract: Various systems and methods of self-configuring networked media hub devices with failover recovery of peers are disclosed. For example, a media hub device may be configured in an “out-of-the-box” solution in which the media hub, upon startup, obtains configuration data from a remote device. Peer media hub devices may be connected to one another via a local network and may each be self-configured in the same manner. Each media hub device may monitor other media hub devices on the local network. Based on such monitoring, each media hub device may detect that one of the media hub devices is offline and a new media hub device is online. One or more of the online media hub devices may automatically configure the new media hub device using the offline media hub device's configuration data, thereby configuring the new media hub device to replace the offline media hub device.

  • Patent number: 7788125
Abstract: A reduced PID tag set specification represents POS transaction data in a manner that is largely retail store product specification independent. A reduced PID tag set specification is a tagged format specification in which a number of PID tags in the tagged format specification is less than the number of PIDs for products contained in RS POS CSs PID specification. In a preferred embodiment, there is only one tag set defined for identifying product identification datum as such. As a result, the product descriptions of all of the product identifications that exist in a retailer's product identification specification are lost when saving the same data in the preferred reduced PID tag set specification. However, saving the retailer's transaction data in a reduced PID tag set specification moots the need to know the retailer's product identification specification in order to receive, store, organize, and, to a certain extent, process the retailer's transaction data.

  • Publication number: 20090139382
Abstract: This relates to a miter saw that is portable and can operate in confined spaces to cut elongated work pieces, such as decorative trim, at an angle. These capabilities are achieved through a construction that is physically reversible, makes use of a cradle to provide stability for the work piece, and may provide a rotatable work brace to support the work piece.

  • Patent number: 4951217
Abstract: A system and method of tool path processing is taught which offsets a tool path from a given geometric sequence, avoiding tool interference and accounting for coincident tool paths. It guides a numerically-controlled machine tool in the manufacturing process. In accordance with the present invention, a computer-aided-manufacturing system defines or allows definition of a pattern to be machined by a tool having an offset, analyzes the pattern for points of intersection, breaks down the pattern into contiguous segments between points of intersection, structures a list of the segments, ordered between intersection points, defines tool path chains, responsive to the list; validates the tool path chains to define valid tool paths, and, guides the movement of the tool along a valid tool path.
