  • Patent number: 5881705
Abstract: Apparatus for adjusting the angular position of the pulleys in a compound bow is mounted on each of the pulleys, not between the pulleys. The apparatus consists of either rotatable or slidable elements which are mounted on the pulleys. The tension cables contact these elements. The elements are designed such that movement of the elements moves the tension cables and causes changes in tension in the tension cables. This causes rotation of the pulleys, thus changing the angular position of the pulleys. The rotatable elements consist of either eccentrically mounted or shaped cams. The tension cables extend around the cams and are anchored to the pulleys. The rotation of the cams causes changes in tension in the tension cables, thus changing the angular position of the pulleys. The slidable elements consist of either a set screw or a sliding plate. In the case of a set screw, one end of the set screw contacts the tension cable and the tension cable is anchored to the pulley.

  • Patent number: 5582305
Abstract: A modular compartment for displaying products therein. The modular compartment comprises in one unit a front panel, a pair of side panels which interlock with the front panel, and a back panel which interlocks with the side panels. The side panels have snap off sections for adjusting the depth of the modular compartment so as to adapt to different shelving dimensions. The side panels also have snap out connector pins for securing together adjacent modular compartments. One or more lateral dividers may be provided for separating products within each modular compartment. Also, an optional perforated peg panel may be snap fit onto the front panel so that mating peg clips and/or actual representative products may be displayed on the front of the modular compartment. Both the front panel and the optional perforated peg panel have guides formed therein for retaining product identifier strips.

  • Patent number: 4863441
Abstract: A kink-resistant, dual-drainage, venous return catheter preferably completely comprised of a polyvinyl chloride material and molded in a conventional injection molding process. This catheter comprises a smaller portion dimensioned to be received in a vena cava, a larger portion and a transition portion between the two other portions. In one embodiment, the transition portion comprises means for stinting the larger portion so that it can't enter the vena cava, a plurality of inlet openings and a plurality of reinforcing channels connecting the inlet openings to the larger portion so that fluid entering the inlet openings is channeled into the larger portion. All of these openings are preferably peripherally chamfered on the inside generally away from the smaller catheter portion and on the outside generally towards and away from the smaller catheter portion.

  • Patent number: 4767289
Abstract: A pump header for use in a peristaltic pump. The pump header includes a flexible outer tube, a collapsible-expandable inner tube, a pressure control valve member and a one-way-flow valve member. The inner tube is disposed within a passageway of the outer tube. The pressure control valve member and the one-way-flow valve member are responsive to positively-pressured liquid at an inlet to the inner tube and allow the liquid to enter a passageway of the inner tube from which the fluid can be pumped by the action of the peristaltic pump. The positively pressured liquid can only pass from the one-way-flow valve member.

  • Patent number: 4043456
Abstract: A vertical plastic straight wall divider for compartments and shelves which cannot be removed unless the goods lined up against the divider in the compartment are removed; said divider permits cold air flow between the compartments when used in freezers. Partitions may be attached on said divider, if desired, either on one or both sides thereof; if the partitions are used on both sides they are locked onto said divider.
