  • Publication number: 20230147552
Abstract: Example aspects include techniques for ordering operations in a file system having a hierarchical namespace including determining, by a first service that manages file system operations for a first entity in the hierarchical namespace, to perform a file system operation for the first entity, generating, by the first service, a first counter record for the file system operation, obtaining, based on determining to perform the file system operation and from a second service that manages file system operations on a second entity that is a parent of the entity in the hierarchical namespace, a second counter record for a last file system operation performed on the second entity, wherein the second counter record is generated by the second service, and storing, in a change feed, an indication of the file system operation along with the first counter record and the second counter record.

  • Publication number: 20230112035
Abstract: Provided are methods and compositions for treating kidney disease, such as chronic kidney disease (CKD), in which the methods and compositions comprise antibodies or an antigen binding fragment thereof that specifically and selectively bind to human ?v?8 integrin, which was discovered, as described, to be highly expressed on kidney cells and tissue, and, in particular, diseased or fibrotic kidney tissue. The disclosed anti-?v?8 integrin antibodies bind to human ?v?8 integrin in the kidney and block the activation of TGF-? from its latent form in kidney tissue. The anti-?v?8 antibodies in the disclosed methods reduce, attenuate, or abrogate kidney fibrosis, which is associated with the activities of ?v?8 integrin and TGF-? in kidney tissue. The disclosed antibodies and methods effectively treat kidney disease, in particular, fibrosis associated with kidney disease, such as CKD, in individuals in need thereof.

  • Publication number: 20230031243
Abstract: A distributed, transactional database uses timestamps, such as logical clock values, for entry versioning and transaction management in the database. To write to the database, a service requests a timestamp to be inserted into the database with a new version of data. During a backup procedure, a cleanup process is paused, issuing new timestamps is paused, and a backup timestamp is generated, which results in an effective backup copy. During a restore of a backup, a snapshot of the database is loaded and any entries older than the backup timestamp are deleted, which ensures that a consistent restore has occurred.

  • Publication number: 20230017799
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media are provided for recursively searching a plurality of workspaces of the system for linked data associated with the seed data, initiating an endpoint process for each the seed data and the linked data, and, upon completion of the search, delete the seed data and the linked data identified based at least in part on the endpoint process. The process may be automatically repeated at a predetermined time interval to identify and remove future data that is stored in the plurality of datasets.

  • Publication number: 20220373750
Abstract: Fiber optic cable assemblies having a construction suitable for a first deployment scenario where the optical connection is made to the device externally that may be transformed for a second deployment scenario where the optical connection is disposed within an internal cavity of the device are disclosed. The cable assembly has one or more cable legs disposed within a profile support element and are disposed under the heat shrink. The fiber optic connectors are exposed and suitable for optical connection with the heat shrink intact on the cable assembly and the profile support element further provides further flexibility using different outer housings with the cable assembly when making external optical connections to the device Thus, the concepts disclosed advantageously allow a single cable assembly to support multiple deployment scenarios in the field, thereby reducing complexity.
