Patent number: 11989696Abstract: In order to facilitate meeting room allocation and calendaring, systems and methods are disclosed including receiving electronic meeting requests to schedule a meeting. A meeting room locator machine learning model is utilized to predict meeting room parameters of a meeting room object representing a candidate meeting room based on a meeting room needs data and location information. A meeting scheduling machine learning model is utilized to predict meeting parameters of a calendar object representing a candidate meeting time based on the candidate meeting room, schedule information and the location information. An indication of the candidate meeting room and the candidate meeting time is displayed in response to the electronic meeting request on a screen associated with each attendee. A selection of the candidate meeting room and the candidate meeting time is received from each attendee, and the candidate meeting room is dynamically secured at the candidate meeting time.Type: GrantFiled: January 16, 2020Date of Patent: May 21, 2024Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: James Zarakas, George Bergeron, Adam Vukich

Patent number: 8919622Abstract: A beverage carriage if provided for wear around a user's waist area. The apparatus includes an accessory that attaches to a user's waist area. A hanger depends from the accessory, the hanger having an upwardly positioned socket. A mounted sleeve has a top opening having an opening that enables a contained beverage to be housed within the sleeve interior. A curved panel/plate fits inside the sleeve. A projecting member is attached to the curved panel/plate and extends through the insulated sleeve to a position spaced externally of the sleeve. A detachable connector joins the projecting member to the hanger when the detachable connector is lowered into the socket via the open top. A locking member moves between locking and release positions, the locking member automatically interlocking with the connector when the connector is lowered into the socket, the locking member having a manually operated release portion.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2012Date of Patent: December 30, 2014Assignee: Guide's Choice IncInventors: Mark J. Patent number: 7548549Abstract: Ethernet packets are transmitted in full duplex mode over a single coaxial cable, such as RG6 and RG59. Symmetrical full duplex operation is achieved by separating the upstream and downstream signals in the frequency domain whereby a 100BaseT signal is transmitted unmodified in one direction while the other is modulated upon a high frequency carrier to be transmitted in the other direction. In a second embodiment, the separation is in the time domain whereby the signals are sampled in blocks, each block compressed in time and transmitted at a higher rate, thus allowing for the interleaving of upstream and downstream blocks on the same coaxial cable. In a third embodiment, different rate upstream and downstream signals are separated in the frequency domain, but without modulation. The resulting asymmetrical 1000/100 Mb/s Ethernet over coax link is valuable in network architectures where asymmetry in the up and down traffic loads is expected.Type: GrantFiled: November 3, 2005Date of Patent: June 16, 2009Assignee: Jacobi Systems CorporationInventors: Jeffrey James Bergeron, Huck Kung Loh, James Benson Bacque, Derrick Remedios

Publication number: 20080289829Abstract: An apparatus for reducing the load applied to a rig. The rig is positioned over a well, with the well having a tubular string disposed therein. A landing string is connected to the tubular string such as casing, production and/or testing assemblies. The apparatus comprises a floatation module attached to the landing string and a clamp for clamping the floatation module onto the landing string. In one embodiment, the floatation module comprises a tubular sleeve having a buoyant material applied thereto. The tubular sleeve includes slots. The clamp may contain a set of dies adapted to engage the slots of the tubular sleeve. A method of landing a work string into a sub-sea well head from a floating drilling rig is also disclosed, wherein a marine riser connects the rig to the sub-sea well head.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 30, 2008Publication date: November 27, 2008Inventors: Billy James Bergeron, William von Eberstein

Patent number: 6568099Abstract: An improved friction tab or clip for a blade catch at an end of the tape measure blade. The friction tab is provided with an outer coating of a substantially soft, resilient and pliant material generally a soft, non-skid material, e.g. an elastomeric material, such as rubber or other similar non-skid material. The friction tab is removably mounted to the blade catch by appropriately molding an inner pocket which frictionally engages the blade catch directly. A protrusion may also be provided in the inner pocket which engages at least an aperture through the blade catch of the measuring tape to further secure the friction tab to the blade catch.Type: GrantFiled: October 12, 2001Date of Patent: May 27, 2003Inventor: James Bergeron
