    Abstract: Tumors utilize multiple mechanisms to avoid the host's anti-tumor immune response. Humoral immunosuppression is one of the mechanisms. Tumors produce circulating factors that can suppress antibody or complement-mediated immune responses to enhance their own survival. Mesothelin is a cell surface protein overexpressed by several cancer types that are associated with tumors exhibiting immunosuppressed microenvironments. Anti-mesothelin antibodies are often subject to such immunosuppressive microenvironments. Alternatively formatted anti-mesothelin antibodies, however, are effective in killing mesothelin-expressing cancers irrespective of tumor microenvironment immune status.

    Abstract: The CA125/MUC16 protein has been found to be a suppressor of humoral immunity, in particular, antibody-mediated humoral immunity mediated through the direct binding to a subset of antibodies. Antibody variants can be generated that have reduced or eliminated CA125 binding yet retain the antigen specificity of the parental antibody. These can be used in treating patients with elevated CA125. CA 125-refractory antibodies are developed and used for treatment. Additionally, proteins that enhance humoral immunity in the presence of CA125 can be used to counter the suppression of humoral immunity.

    Abstract: A transport trailer includes a chassis, a deck, a lifting assembly, and a stabilizer assembly. The lifting assembly is mechanically coupled to the deck and the chassis and selectively raises and lowers the deck relative to the chassis. The stabilizer assembly includes a support post and a slide member. The support post is laterally disposed between first and second edges of the deck and extends from the chassis to a top end of the support post. The slide member is coupled to the deck and translates along a length of the support post as the deck is raised and lowered to stabilize the deck. An upper surface of the deck is above the top end of the support post when the deck is in a raised position and is below the top end of the support post when the deck is in a lowered position.

A connecting member is adapted to connect to the second building member and includes a base that retains the connecting member to the channels but is movable within the channels along the track. An actuator has an extendable rod end attached to the kicker plate. The extendable rod has telescopically engaged first and second stages. An annular first stage piston is slidably disposed to engage a drive end of the first stage of the rod. A first stage gland slidably receives the first stage of the rod. A second stage piston is slidably disposed within the first stage piston to engage a drive end of the second stage of the rod. The first stage can have a longer stroke than the first stage, whereas the second stage can have a higher stroke velocity to assist kicking the pipe from the trough.
