Publication number: 20240152927Abstract: A method for providing an indication of financial strength includes receiving a financial indicator and a predetermined spending budget status from a user. The predetermined spending budget status is associated with a spending budget for the user that has at least one payment account. The financial indicator is then associated with the predetermined spending budget status. A payment request that includes one of the at least one payment accounts is then received from a merchant. A current spending budget status is then determined using the spending budget and the at least one payment account. The financial indicator is then sent to the merchant for provision to the user in response to the current spending budget status being included in the predetermined spending budget status.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 9, 2023Publication date: May 9, 2024Inventors: Frank Anthony Nuzzi, James Brett Sowder, Sandra Lynn Godsey, Vincent Ng

Publication number: 20240067542Abstract: An example of an apparatus and method of operating the apparatus to treat produced water. The apparatus includes a cavitation chamber. In addition, the apparatus includes an inlet to receive produced water with a microorganism. The apparatus further includes a pump to pump the produced water from the inlet into the cavitation chamber at a predetermined pressure. The apparatus also includes an injector to inject a biocide to the produced water to control a population of the microorganism. Furthermore, the apparatus includes a micro-bubble generator disposed within the cavitation chamber. The micro-bubble generator reduces a pressure of the produced water below a fluid vapor pressure to create micro-bubbles which collapse to generate a micro shockwave to enhance the efficacy of the biocide at reducing the population of the microorganism. The apparatus further includes an outlet to release the produced water after the population of the microorganism is lowered.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 4, 2023Publication date: February 29, 2024Applicant: Avonlea Technology Holdings Corp.Inventors: Ronald Otto Lincz, Douglas James Brett

Publication number: 20230264897Abstract: A controller is provided to control movement of a plurality of transporting devices. In particular, the controller provides improved robot shunting. More specifically, the controller delays the planning of a shunt path for an idle robot until closer to the time the idle robot needs to move out of the way. Advantageously this avoids the computing burden of planning shunts in advance that are never performed because the idle robot is subsequently tasked before the shunt were due to start. In particular, shunt paths can be planned very close to the time at which they need to be executed thereby providing a more efficient solution to robot shunting because very close to the execution time there is a very small probability that the plan will change in a way that the shunt needs to be recalculated.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 15, 2021Publication date: August 24, 2023Applicant: Ocado Innovation LimitedInventors: Robert STADIE, Andrzej CZARNY, Thomas OLIVER, Gareth SIRET, Christopher Richard James BRETT

Publication number: 20220211230Abstract: Apparatus and a method for removing particulate matter from an enclosure having an internal space and an opening into the internal space. The apparatus includes: a cover positionable over the opening; an inlet conduit that extends through the cover and is adapted to direct gas from a gas source to a gas outlet within the internal space so that particulate matter within the internal space is dislodged. Gas and entrained particulate matter is drawn from the internal space firstly through an outlet conduit and the particular matter is separated. Concentration of particulate matter in gas leaving the enclosed space is sensed and its value displayed to an operator so that operation can continue until a satisfactory value of the concentration is achieved. The gas outlet may be comprised in an elongate lance that is passed through the cover and can be manipulated by a user. The lance may display data.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 21, 2020Publication date: July 7, 2022Inventors: David Collins, James Brett, James Forsyth, Callum Maltby
