Abstract: A method for performing a key exchange between a first device, a second device, and an intermediary device, wherein the intermediary device: transmits to the first device a first secret symbol string over a first quantum channel and a first basis set over a first channel, transmits to the second device a second secret symbol string over a second quantum channel and a second basis set over a second channel, and generates a third symbol string by combining the first and second secret symbol strings and transmits data representative of the third symbol string to the second device, whereby the first and second devices perform a quantum key exchange and sifting based on the first and second secret symbol strings and first and second basis sets, and a fourth set of symbols is generated by the second device by combining the second secret symbols with the third symbol string.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to methods of sequencing nucleic acid molecules, such as DNA and more specifically single molecules of DNA, using polymerase enzyme located within an area of electrical field enhancement. The present disclosure also relates to plasmonic nanoantenna which may be used in nucleic acid sequencing, methods of making said nanoantenna, arrays comprising said nanoantenna and methods of using said nanoantenna and arrays in single molecule sequencing technologies.

Abstract: A method of tuning a viscosity or temperature behavior is described. The method includes steps of determining a target grease property selected from providing a base oil and a phase change material, combining the base oil and phase change material to form a tunable grease, and testing the tunable grease to ensure the tunable grease satisfies the target grease property. A tunable grease including a base oil and a phase change material is also provided.

Abstract: A machine learning model that is suitable for reservoir computing and comprises a computer-implemented input module configured for receiving input data; a plurality of reservoir networks, each reservoir network configured for receiving data from the input module and for outputting reservoir state data; and computer-implemented readout module that is configured for receiving the reservoir state data from the reservoirs and for outputting readout data based on the reservoir state data. The reservoir networks can be computer-implemented or physically-implemented and at least one of them may involve a plurality of qubits.

Abstract: Provided herein are wearable synchronization and movement feedback systems configured to monitor, analyze, and improve coordinated movement. The system includes one or more wearable devices comprising motion sensors, spatial awareness systems, wireless communication modules, and feedback systems configured to detect movement deviations and provide corrective guidance in real time. The wearable devices may communicate with software platforms configured to analyze timing, positioning, orientation, spacing, and synchronization relative to one or more reference movements or other users. Corrective feedback may include haptic, auditory, or visual cues. The system may further include RFID-based positioning systems, machine learning analysis, remote coaching functionality, synchronization scoring, and group performance analytics. The disclosed systems and methods may be applied to dance, sports, rehabilitation, military drills, physical therapy, industrial training, and other coordinated movement environments.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for server-initiated secure sessions are described. A browser application may connect to a portal, where the portal may transmit a command to a server agent to initiate a secure session with an endpoint device. The server agent may be housed in a destination server, and may establish a secure connection with an intermediary server using a secure communication protocol. The secure connection may be made by directing the destination server to open an out-bound connection through a firewall of the destination server. A browser session may be redirected to the intermediary server from the browser application, and the intermediary server may route the browser session traffic to the secure connection.

Abstract: A two-phase structured lubricant includes a liquid component about 5% by weight (wt. %) to 95 wt. %, and a structural component about 5 wt. % to 95 wt. %. The structural component recrystallizes or solidifies around the liquid component.

Abstract: A wood fence post cover or cap is described, that is adapted for being readily installed over the tops of fence posts, even when the posts have an angle of chamfer, and even when such chamfer angles vary from post to post. The invention provides an added layer of environmental protection to outdoor wood fence posts, thereby extending their useable life.

Abstract: A method includes providing a shared secret data to a device and also to a security service; using the provided shared secret data to provide a root key; and using the root key as a basis for a sequence of stages, wherein each stage comprises an operation which converts a start key into a different generated key, and the same stages are carried out in parallel at the device and at the security service. The root key is used as the start key for a first stage of the sequence, and a generated key produced by each stage of the sequence, except for the final stage of the sequence, is used as a start key for a next stage of the sequence. The keys produced by the last sequence stage at the device and at the security service are used to authenticate the device to the security service.

Abstract: In one aspect, a system for managing data processes in a network of computing resources is configured to: receive, from an instructor device, a parent request for execution of at least one parent data process executable by a plurality of computing resources at least one computing resource; generate at least one child request for execution of at least one corresponding child data process for routing to at least one corresponding destination device, each of the at least one child data process for executing at least a portion of the at least one parent data process, and each of the at least one child request including a respective destination key derived from at least one instructor key; and route each of the at least one child request to the at least one corresponding destination device. The at least one child request can be obtained by a supervisor server via the routing.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for orchestrating server management in a modern IT network. The described techniques may be implemented to manage any number of networked severs, whether local, remote, or both. Server orchestration may leverage a central, cloud-based management system and/or one or more autonomous agents installed on servers with the network. The autonomous agents may each be registered with the supervisory server and may have awareness of one another.

In response, one instance of a plurality of available application instances is identified. The instances are hosted on a plurality of hosts having a plurality of firewalls, and the firewalls and the hosts reside within the network. The firewalls have been initially defaulted to block external access to all instances. A corresponding one of the hosts, within the trusted computer network, and corresponding to the identified one of the plurality of available application instances, is instructed to open a corresponding one of the firewalls to a network address corresponding to the external client. The external client is advised of a destination identifier and port corresponding to the opening of the firewall, to facilitate the external client communicating with the corresponding one of the hosts.

Abstract: Provided herein are systems and methods for storing digital information by assembling an identifier nucleic acid molecule from at least a first component nucleic acid molecule and a second component nucleic acid molecule. The system may include a first printhead configured to dispense a first droplet of a first solution comprising the first component nucleic acid molecule onto a coordinate on a substrate, and a second printhead configured to dispense a second droplet of a second solution comprising the second component nucleic acid molecule onto the coordinate on the substrate, such that the first and second component nucleic acid molecules are collocated on the substrate. The system may include a finisher that dispenses a reaction mix onto the coordinate on the substrate to physically link the first and second component nucleic acid molecules, provides a condition necessary to physically link the first and second component nucleic acid molecules, or both.

A cloud-based central server may maintain an integrated hosted directory, which may allow user authentication, authorization, and management of information technology (IT) resources across device types, operating systems, and software-as-a-service (SaaS) and on-premises applications. IT resources for multiple and separate customers may be managed from a single, central directory, and servers may be brought online to allow access to the directory according to system loading.

The thrust washer includes an annular washer body surrounding a central axis. Abstract: A fluid path connector assembly for a medical fluid delivery system includes a connector element having a body, a lumen extending through the body, and a pair of flexible legs connected to the body, each of the flexible legs having a flange. The connector assembly further includes a dust cap removably connected to the connector element. The dust cap includes a dust cap body positioned between the flexible legs to enclose the lumen, and an engagement element at a distal end of the dust cap body. The engagement element is in contact with the flanges of the flexible legs to prevent disengagement of the dust cap from the connector element while allowing ready removal of the dust cap by medical personnel. A removable/disconnectable tamper resistant and/or tamper-evident and/or tamper resistant feature connecting the dust cap to the connector element is also disclosed.
