  • Publication number: 20240380737
Abstract: At a security gateway residing within a trusted computer network, a service request is obtained from an external client and is authenticated. In response, one instance of a plurality of available application instances is identified. The instances are hosted on a plurality of hosts having a plurality of firewalls, and the firewalls and the hosts reside within the network. The firewalls have been initially defaulted to block external access to all instances. A corresponding one of the hosts, within the trusted computer network, and corresponding to the identified one of the plurality of available application instances, is instructed to open a corresponding one of the firewalls to a network address corresponding to the external client. The external client is advised of a destination identifier and port corresponding to the opening of the firewall, to facilitate the external client communicating with the corresponding one of the hosts.

  • Patent number: 12119597
Abstract: An electrical junction box assembly includes a junction box that has a power input, a hot terminal block, a ground terminal block and neutral terminal block. A plurality of electrical couplers is each in electrical communication with the hot terminal block and the ground terminal block and the neutral terminal block. A plurality of extension cables is each attachable to a respective one of the electrical couplers such that each of the extension cables is in electrical communication with the power input. Each of the extension cables is electrically coupled to a respective electronic device thereby facilitating the respective electronic device to be in electrical communication with the power input. • Patent number: 12105630
Abstract: A dataflow graph for an application has operation units that are configured to be producers and consumers of tensors. A write access pattern of a particular producer specifies an order in which the particular producer generates elements of a tensor, and a read access pattern of a corresponding consumer specifies an order in which the corresponding consumer processes the elements of the tensor. The technology disclosed detects conflicts between the producers and the corresponding consumers that have mismatches between the write access patterns and the read access patterns. A conflict occurs when the order in which the particular producer generates the elements of the tensor is different from the order in which the corresponding consumer processes the elements of the tensor. The technology disclosed resolves the conflicts by inserting buffers between the producers and the corresponding consumers.

  • Publication number: 20240263143
Abstract: Disclosed is the creation of new E1-complementing BHK-21 cell lines to produce recombinant adeno-associated virus (rAAV) vectors. The new cell lines stably express the E1 gene region of adenovirus or a portion thereof and produce the E1 proteins. Transient production in the E1-complementing cell lines of the AAV rep/cap proteins, helper proteins and an AAV transfer plasmid containing the desirable transgene flanked by the Inverted Terminal Repeat (ITR) sequences of AAV, results in production of rAAV particles containing the transgene. Further disclosed is scaled-up production, harvesting and purification of transgene-containing rAAV. The purified rAAV has demonstrated capability to infect a host cell line and express the protein encoded by the transgene. The disclosure provides non-human, non-embryonic cell lines for production of rAAV particles that are a platform for delivery of a desired transgene.

The limb positioning and support device includes an articulating and rotating positioning and support arm coupled between a surgical table and a limb saddle. The positioning and support arm is configured to selectively allow translation and/or rotation of the limb saddle in three degrees of freedom. Actuation mechanisms drive the limb saddle vertically and horizontally. A pivot joint coupled between the limb saddle and the positioning and support arm permits rotation of the limb saddle about a vertical axis, and the limb saddle can be angularly displaced about the longitudinal axis of the subject limb. • Patent number: 12039728
Abstract: Described are techniques for uncertainty-aware anatomical landmark detection, using, for example, a deep reinforcement learning (DRL) anatomical landmark detection agent. For instance, a process can include generating one or more image features for an input medical image using a first sub-network of the anatomical landmark detection agent. A softmax layer of a second sub-network of the anatomical landmark detection agent can generate a plurality of discrete Q-value distributions for a set of allowable actions associated with movement of the agent within the medical image. An anatomical landmark location within the medical image can be predicted using the discrete Q-value distributions. An uncertainty can be determined for the predicted anatomical landmark location, based on an average full width half maximum (FWHM) calculated for the plurality of discrete Q-value distributions.
