Abstract: A substantially pure population of human somatic cells that have enhanced potential to become induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS cells) is provided. Also provided are methods for generating this population of cells and methods for generating iPS cells from this population of cells.

The delivery system comprises a source electrode adapted to be positioned proximate to a target site of internal body tissue. A counter electrode is in electrical communication with the source electrode, and is configured to cooperate with the source electrode to form a localized electric field proximate to the target site. A reservoir is configured to be disposed such that the reservoir is capable of interacting with the localized electric field. The reservoir is configured to carry a cargo capable of being delivered to the target site when exposed to the localized electric field. Associated methods are also provided.

Abstract: A fin locking mechanism for locking in place, and subsequently unlocking fins for installation on a missile having a plurality of otherwise moveable fins. Where the fins are mounted to a crank arm, there is a locking detent, with a locking notch, integral to the crank arm. A spring loaded locking plunger has an end which fits into the locking notch. The locking plungers are mounted into the assembly housing locking plunger channels. A base plate is spaced from the locking detent such that when one end of the locking plunger is fitted into the locking notch, the other end of the locking plunger is slidably pressed against the base plate by the spring loading, and the locking plunger is relatively perpendicular to the base plate. The base plate also has a plurality of locking plunger recesses, wherein when one end of the locking plunger resides in the locking plunger recesses, the other end of the locking plunger will not reach the locking notch and therefore the fins will be unlocked.

Abstract: A locking device for a disc retaining hub includes a base and a head that lock together over the hub to lock a disc on the hub until a portion of the locking device is destroyed. The head or the base of the locking device includes locking fingers that allow the head and base to lock together in a one-way snap fit connection. The locking mechanism may also cooperate with the disc retaining hub to lock itself to the hub. The locking mechanism prevents the disc from being removed from the hub until the locking mechanism is destroyed by the user.

Abstract: A hand-held container for paint and painting implements is provided. The body of the paint container includes an internal reservoir for holding paint and a magnet housed within the body for securing a paint brush or the like within the reservoir. An automatically adjusting, flexible handle that includes a living hinges provides a means for holding a person's hand against the exterior of the body. The paint container also includes a body that is dividable into multiple compartments. A textured surface covers a portion of exterior of the handle and the body and creates a non-slip surface useful for gripping the container. A portion of the container is shaped in a manner that allows the container to function as a pitcher for dispensing fluids such as paint. Stabilizing legs formed on or attached to the front portion of the container allow the container to be also be used as a paint tray.

Abstract: A hand-held scraper device containing a stowable multi blade pivoting head. The pivoting head is comprised of at least two scraping elements which remain at a fixed angle relative to each other while still allowing a pivoting action of the head assembly independently from the handle. The angle of the scraping elements relative to each other is set such that as the two scraping elements are jointly presented against the work surface they will be maintained at an angular attitude conducive to a scraping action in both a push and pull direction. The pivoting head can be collapsed for more efficient stowage or as an alternate configuration for specific scraping applications.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus to update credit bureau data are disclosed. The methods and apparatus provide a credit reporting transport server that stores credit information sent by the credit data providers. This data may be queued by the credit reporting transport server and forwarded to the credit bureau servers. Although credit data providers still receive credit reports based on this data from the credit bureaus, the data stored by the credit reporting transport server may be reviewed and modified by the submitting credit data provider at any time. Modified data is then sent to the credit bureaus to keep the credit bureau database up to date. In addition, the credit reporting transport server checks for errors, corrects some error, logs the transaction, and issues an electronic receipt to the credit data provider indicating the status of the data update.

At least one resilient element is disposed within the recess in the bearing housing between the floor of the recess and the support piston, the resilient element biasing the support piston away from the axis of the rotatable shaft.

Building occupants can be informed of safe paths along which to proceed during an emergency. Further, a command workstation, such as a fire command workstation, can be integrated into an alarm system having multiple functions, detection devices, and voice communication capabilities.
