  • Patent number: 8091237
Abstract: A method for producing a rear crossmember for a vehicle seat that includes the steps of providing metal plate stock having a first edge and a second edge as well as performing a simultaneous punching and clinching operation to locate and secure a plurality of threaded fasteners into the plate stock at predetermined points. This operation causes an opening to be punched through the plate stock and the fasteners to be permanently retained in the plate stock at the openings. The plurality of fasteners provide threaded connection points that are employed in the further construction of the vehicle seat. A rolling operation is employed to cause the first edge of the plate stock to come into close proximity with the second edge of the plate stock in such a manner as to form the desired cross-sectional shape for the rear crossmember and a welding operation used to secure the first edge to the second edge thereby forming the rolled plate stock into the desired rear crossmember.

  • Patent number: 6755750
Abstract: A talc dispenser for cue sticks in which a housing having a talc storage cavity is formed with a through tubular passageway configured to allow insertion of a cue stick shaft. A metering element is movable to cause talc to pass out of said storage cavity and into the enclosed space to thereafter be deposited on an inserted cue stick by rubbing contact with a tube of bristle material rolled up within the through passage and on which the talc is distributed. A chalk block holder is received in a housing recess and a housing holder has a belt clip for convenient storage of the dispenser.

  • Patent number: 5806813
Abstract: A tubing bracket assembly for use in mounting tubing, particularly round tubing to a support member. The bracket assembly includes a generally C-shaped member with the opposed free ends being interconnected by bridging members. The bridging members are interconnected to a mounting bracket. The clamp is squeezed about a tube so that the bridging member is generally parallel to the centerline of the tube and the bracket is then connected to the bridging members for a secure bracket assembly.

  • Patent number: 5586738
Abstract: A tube bracket assembly for use in mounting tubing, particularly round tubing to a support member. The bracket assembly includes two opposed C-shaped members with the opposed free ends of each C-shaped member being interconnected by a bridging member. The bridging member has weld projections for interconnecting the bridging members to a mounting bracket. The clamp is squeezed about a tube so that the bridging members are generally parallel to the centerline of the tube and a bracket is then welded to the bridging members for a secure bracket assembly.
