Abstract: A system (10) for sports training or game play includes at least two light emitting devices (12) that are positionable at a selected spaced apart distance from one another. The light emitting devices (12) are coupled to a power source (40) and each having at least one electrically powered light source (16, 64, 66) that is powered by the power source (40). A controller (70, 80) remotely and selectively controls the activation and deactivation of the light source (16, 64, 66) of each light emitting device (12).

Abstract: A ball-handling-skills training device (10) includes a harness (16) configured for coupling to a wearer's upper torso, a ball (14) and a flexible tether (18). The tether (18) is coupled at one end to the harness (16) so that the tether (18) freely hangs proximate to the wearer's chest at a position along a transverse line generally passing across the wearer's sternum when the harness (16) is coupled to the wearer's upper torso. The tether (18) is configured for coupling at the other end to the ball (14). In a method of use, the ball (14) is kicked with one's feet or legs while the harness (16) is coupled to one's upper torso.

Abstract: An obstacle device for use on a playing field has a base and a frame approximating in shape the front profile of a human head and torso. The frame is coupled to the base. The frame includes a collapsible frame member that has an expanded configuration that defines an expanded frame area. The frame member also has a collapsed configuration that defines a collapsed frame area that is less than the expanded frame area. A covering material is attached to the frame so that the covering material is spread by the frame when the frame member is in the expanded configuration.

Abstract: An obstacle device for use on a playing field is formed from an elongate support member. A frame member in the form of a resilient, flexible hoop is coupled to the support member. The frame member has an expanded configuration that defines an expanded frame area. The frame member is resiliently deformable to a collapsed configuration that defines a collapsed frame area that is less than the expanded frame area. A layer of fabric material is attached to the frame member so that the fabric material is spread by the frame when the frame is in the expanded configuration.
