  • Patent number: 11930267
Abstract: An electronic device may be provided with control circuitry, wireless transceiver circuitry, and a display. The electronic device may be used to provide information to a user in response to being pointed at a particular object. The control circuitry may determine when the electronic device is pointed at a particular object using wireless control circuitry and/or motion sensor circuitry. In response to determining that the electronic device is pointed at a particular object, the control circuitry may take suitable action. This may include, for example, displaying information about an object when the electronic device is pointed at the object, displaying control icons for electronic equipment when the electronic device is pointed at the electronic equipment, and/or displaying a virtual object when the electronic device is pointed at real world object.

  • Patent number: 9674212
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving a risk threshold from a protected social entity, and scanning data that is maintained across multiple social networks, where scanning includes identifying data that is associated with the protected social entity. One or more characteristics of the identified data is determined, and based on the one or more characteristics of the data identified across the multiple social networks, a risk to the protected social entity is determined. A request to a social network for the removal of the data associated with the risk is submitted.

  • Patent number: 9674214
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving a request to remove data that is associated with a protected social entity. The data maintained on one or more social networks is scanned, where scanning includes identifying data that is associated with one or more social entities. One or more characteristics of the identified data are determined, and a reference to the identified data that indicates the characteristic, is generated for each of the one or more characteristics. A match between the one or more generated references and one or more stored references is identified, where the one or more stored references each reference one or more characteristics associated with the protected social entity, and where the one or more stored references are stored in one or more social risk databases. A request to the one or more social networks to remove the identified data associated with the one or more generated references is submitted.

  • Patent number: 9191411
Abstract: A method includes identifying data on a social network that is associated with a suspect social entity, and determining one or more characteristics of the identified data. A reference to the identified data is generated for each of the one or more characteristics. One or more of the generated references are compared to one or more stored references, where the one or more stored references are associated with a protected social entity. A profile score for the suspect social entity is determined based on the comparison. Determining the profile score includes identifying a match between one or more of the generated references and one or more of the stored references.
