  • Patent number: 8350710
Abstract: An enclosed space monitoring system includes a controller and a plurality of sensors. The sensors may include a humidity sensor, a water presence sensor, a water pump operation sensor, a temperature sensor, a radon gas detector, a propane or natural gas detector, a smoke sensor, a carbon monoxide detector and a motion sensor. Environmental parameter data obtained by the sensors is stored within a memory connected to the controller. The controller sends the data to a remote facility periodically and/or when the data indicates a potential condition within the space needing attention or remediation. The sent data is stored at the remote facility and may be accessed by a technician or an owner of the space. Also, the data may be comparatively studied relative to earlier data from the same space and to data collected in similar spaces to discern a potential condition needing attention or remediation.

  • Patent number: 8111205
Abstract: Methods and systems for determining insertion loss for a mast clamp current probe (MCCP) coupled to a monopole antenna are disclosed. An exemplary method includes determining a first power radiated by the monopole antenna across a first range of frequencies while driving the monopole antenna using a base-feed arrangement to produce a first power-frequency measurement, determining a second power radiated by the monopole antenna across the first range of frequencies while driving the monopole antenna using an MCCP-feed arrangement to produce a second power-frequency measurement and to determine impedance mismatch (MM), and determining insertion loss using the first power-frequency measurement, the second power-frequency measurement and the impedance mismatch.

  • Patent number: 7994992
Abstract: A multi-band antenna comprising a conductive structure and a plurality of current probes coupled around the conductive structure. Each current probe is designed to receive and transmit in a substantially different frequency band than the other current probes. The current probes are positioned on the conductive structure so as to effectively create a plurality of transmit/receive antennas such that each respective antenna has a voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of less than or equal to approximately 3:1 for a given range within each respective frequency band.

  • Publication number: 20110057801
Abstract: An enclosed space monitoring system includes a controller and a plurality of sensors located within the enclosed space. The controller sends the stored data to a remote facility when the data indicates a potential condition within the space needing attention or remediation. Further, the controller sends the data to the remote facility periodically. The sent data is stored at the remote facility and may be accessed by a technician or an owner of the space.

  • Patent number: 5995056
Abstract: A wide band phased array antenna includes a radio frequency reflector hav a focal axis, and first and second sides and an m number of transverse electromagnetic transmission carriers, where each of the carriers includes a first conductor which generally transects the focal axis of the reflector and is electrically connected to a first side of the reflector, and a second conductor electrically connected to a second side of the reflector, where m is a positive integer. The RF reflector is located between the first and second conductors for guiding the beam.
