The funds are made available in a bank account of the employee instantly or near instantly.

Abstract: Methods and systems for processing transactions initiated at unattended terminals using user devices without visible credentials, and providing services concerning such transactions, are disclosed. A first party issues a set of pseudo credentials for a user device responsive to authorisation request data concerning a transaction initiated with a second party using the user device and provides the pseudo credentials to the second party, who maps such pseudo credentials to real credentials of the user device acquired from the user device during the transaction. The pseudo credentials are also provided to a user of the user device who submits such pseudo credentials to the second party during a subsequent enquiry concerning the transaction. To authenticate the user device, the second party requests authorisation from the first party using the pseudo credentials.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of generating a document comprising verification data, the method comprising: obtaining data for inclusion on a document, wherein the obtained data includes verification data; encrypting the verification data; generating a machine readable code comprising the encrypted verification data; and generating a document comprising both the obtained data in a non-encrypted form and the machine readable code. Advantageously, an entity that is required to verify the document can decrypt the machine readable code to obtain the verification data. The encrypted nature of the data within the machine readable code ensures that the data is secure and the verification reliable.

Abstract: A small gas turbine generator set comprising a rotating group and combustor contained within a circumferential recuperator. The rotating group comprises an alternator rotor on a common shaft with a turbine wheel and compressor impeller, supported by double acting complaint foil thrust bearings and a radial compliant foil bearing. The circumferential recuperator consists of a plurality of apertured boundary foils having embossments for structurally spacing the foils apart, arranged to provide the flow channels, manifolds, and structure to permit the existence of differential pressure between each surface of the foil. The circumferential recuperator is unitarily constructed surrounding the rotating group and combustor wherein the inflowing air is heated by the recuperator before entering the combustor.

In this portion, during the cooling mode, water is evaporated into the system to further assist in cooling by removing the latent heat of vaporization.
