Abstract: A method, system, and computer-readable storage device are provided for the generation of sales leads for a service provider. Traits valued by service providers operating in an identical competitive industry are stored. For each service provider, each of their traits identifies one of preferred consumer demographics and preferred business demographics. Data collected from a consumer includes the consumer's personal information and information associated with a service provided by the service providers. The consumer's data is compared with the traits of the service providers to identify at least one of the service providers whose traits correlate to the data associated with the consumer. The consumer is then identified to the one or more service providers whose traits correlate to the data associated with the consumer.
