  • Patent number: 5774825
Abstract: A system for visually representing the location of an item on a television. In one embodiment, a user of the present system telephonically requests that a visual representation of the location of an item be transmitted from a cable television company and displayed on the user's television. In the present embodiment, the user's television is connected with the cable television company by cable. Once the request is received at the cable television company, position information indicative of the location of the item is transmitted from the item to a receiver. The position information is then transmitted from the receiver to the cable television company. The acquired position information is then transmitted from the cable television company to the user's television. A visual representation of the position of the item is then displayed on the user's television.

  • Patent number: 5677837
Abstract: A method and system for determining the location of a mobile position determining system with respect to a destination. In one embodiment, a mobile position determining system has a communication device coupled thereto. Position information of the mobile position determining system is transmitted, via the communication device, to a destination position information database. The destination position information database contains position information of at least one destination. A position comparator then generates range and bearing information indicative of the relative position of the mobile position determining system with respect to the at least one destination. An output device then reports the relative position of the mobile position determining system with respect to the at least one destination to a user of the mobile position determining system.

  • Patent number: 5185142
Abstract: A composition comprises an antigen-specific antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof labeled with Iodine-124 at a site other than, and which does not significantly interfere with, the antibody-antigen binding site. An in vivo method of radiotherapy directed to an antigenic site comprises administering to a subject in need of the therapy an amount of the antigen-specific composition described above effective to attain a reduction of the size of a tumor associated with the antigen. An in vivo method for detecting and localizing an antigenic site in a subject in need of such detection comprises administering to the subject an amount of the antigen-specific composition of the invention effective to localize the antigen-antibody binding site and scanning the subject's body with a positron-emitter detector to attain the localization of the site.

  • Patent number: 4510214
Abstract: The disclosed electrode includes an electroconductive substrate and an electron-transfer catalyst immobilized on the conductive support surface by being covalently bonded thereto via a linking ligand. The link (ligand) used to covalently bond the catalyst to the support surface can be either electrically conductive or non-conductive.
