  • Publication number: 20080190795
Abstract: A horizontally arrayed collection of receptors, each suited to hold an individual golf club in inverted position, is horizontally mountable to the unpredictably angled canopy frame bar of a golf cart. A mounting clamp receives an angled frame bar between two studs that are spaced wider apart that the thickness of the bar, so that the array can be twisted to horizontal position with the frame bar still between the studs. Then the clamp compresses the frame bar to permanently secure the array at the desired orientation. The receptors provide a vertical bore with compound profile for holding the individual golf clubs in vertical position. A top end profile defines a tapered cavity matching the taper of a club ferrule, while a bottom end profile is flared similarly to an inverted club shaft. Bosses extending into a gate area of each receptor assist in preventing loss of a club during cart travel by creating a snap-in function that retains the clubs in the receptors.

  • Patent number: 7137317
Abstract: A container opening device and method are provided to facilitate the opening of containers of the type having integral pull tabs. The device includes a body, a tip located at one end of the body, and a handle located at the opposite end of the body. A slot is formed in the body and is positioned between the handle and the tip. The device is first used as a lever to rotate the pull tab to an activated position. The pull tab is then inserted within the slot formed in the body, and the handle of the device is rotated while securing the pull tab in the slot causing the lid to roll around the body thus separating the lid from the container.

  • Patent number: 5794281
Abstract: A shower curtain assembly having a vertically moveable flexible water barrier is disclosed wherein the water barrier is extendable from and retractable into a support assembly traversing an upper portion of a shower enclosure opening. Additionally, the support assembly is pivotally retractable to a vertical position adjacent a wall of the shower enclosure. Thus, in the retracted configuration, the shower enclosure opening is left unencumbered by the support assembly and the water barrier, and in an extended configuration wherein the support assembly is supported across the upper portion of the shower enclosure opening, the flexible water barrier can be extended downward to form a barrier to water escaping from the shower enclosure.
