    Abstract: A slip yoke includes a generally cylindrical body rotatable about an axis. The slip yoke further includes an axially extending spline for engagement with a mating spline of an associated apparatus. Two generally axially extending arms are symmetrically positioned about the axis. Each of the arms has a generally cylindrical opening formed therethrough transversely to the axis. The openings are aligned with one another. Each of the arms includes an outer surface having recessed areas formed therein. The recessed areas define webs extending between the cylindrical body and the opening.
