  • Publication number: 20110251662
Abstract: A fixation device for retaining a leadless medical implant to tissue includes an array of elongate tines having self-expanding distal portions. The fixation tines may be advanced between an implant body and an outer jacket to deploy the tines from a delivery configuration in which the tines are constrained by the outer jacket to an expanded configuration in which the distal end portions of the tines are released from the outer jacket. The implant and fixation device are contained within a sheath for delivery to the treatment site and a pusher within the sheath advances the fixation device relative to the implant body and deploys the tines. A distal end of the implant having an electrode may form a distal tip of the delivery system, and a potential implantation site may be tested prior to deployment of the fixation device to allow for easy repositioning of the implant.

  • Patent number: 7797859
Abstract: A snowplow and mount assembly comprising a mount frame adapted to be secured to a vehicle, and a snowplow frame. One of the mount frame and the snowplow frame has first and second arms and the other of the mount frame and snowplow frame has first and second receivers, the first and second receivers receiving the first and second arms, respectively. Respective ones of first and second latch pins removably secure the first and second arms in the first and second receivers. A latch lever is operably associated with the first and second latch pins and simultaneously actuates the latch pins to latched and unlatched positions. The snowplow frame includes a jack stand movable to and between an extended ground contacting and snowplow frame supporting position and a retracted ground noncontacting and snowplow frame nonsupporting position.

  • Publication number: 20100066731
Abstract: A configurator that creates multi angle images of a product that can be configured with options, accessories, colors and the like in 2d imagery, which does not require special software or hardware to view and interact with the configurator. The configurator automatically generates layer logic of how the product can be assembled for use in a configurator engine to manage the relationships of the 2d art layers. The approach outlined here has moved the linking and logic to the generation phase of the layers thereby automatically generating the configuration logic file at rendering that can be used by a simple program to assemble the layers for a visual interface. Essentially, 2d images are created in a layering scheme from 3d models that can be assembled into any combination based on logic to support various configurations of products.

  • Publication number: 20090211508
Abstract: A boat fender cover is provided in the shape of a fish. The cover includes a casing having a fusiform body in the shape of a fish's body. Furthermore, the casing includes a cavity for positioning a boat fender. Furthermore, the casing includes an open end for introducing the boat fender into the cavity and a closed end. Preferably, the open end is in the shape of a fish's head while the cavity's closed end has the appearance of a fish towards a fish's tail. The boat fender cover further includes a plurality of appendages which project from the casing's fusiform body having the form of fish fins. These “fin” appendages include a caudal fin, dorsal fins, pectoral fins, pelvic fins, anal fins, and combinations thereof. Advantageously, the boat fender cover provides protection for both the boat and fender against abrasion, dirt and weather.

  • Patent number: 7394013
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure relate to assignment of fingering for performance of a musical piece. In one example, a processor of an electronic system receives a file having data relating to at least one musical piece. The processor parses the file and assigns keys to occurrences of notes within the musical piece. In certain embodiments, the key-to-note assignments are based on predetermined factors, such as common patterns of learned fingering and a user typing proficiency level, and/or predetermined assignment rules, such as physical or spatial limitations with respect to the user's fingers and the keys of the keyboard. Furthermore, embodiments of the invention allow for different keys to be assigned to different occurrences of the same note or allow for a single key to be assigned to multiple notes, such as a chord, or to different notes occurring at different points in the musical piece.

  • Patent number: 6898431
Abstract: In a sectored cell of a cellular communication network, channels are dynamically reassigned from a first sector in the cell to a second sector in the same cell when the loading in the first sector reaches a predetermined threshold. The channels allocated to the cell are further subdivided into subgroups and assigned initially to respective sectors in the cell. During normal operation, the channels in each sector are allocated to users in that sector in the usual manner. When the number of channels allocated in a first sector of the cell reaches a predetermined threshold, the base station controller polls the remaining sectors for unused channels. If an unused channel is found, that channel may be reassigned to the first sector. In one embodiment, the base station controller polls the controller in the nearest co-channel cells before reassigning the channel to prevent co-channel interference.
