  • Patent number: 11932854
Abstract: The present invention relates to compounds, compositions, and methods for the study, diagnosis, and treatment of traits, diseases and conditions that respond to the modulation of gene expression and/or activity, and/or modulate a gene expression pathway. Specifically, the invention relates to double-stranded nucleic acid molecules including small nucleic acid molecules, such as short interfering nucleic acid (siNA) molecules that are capable of mediating or that mediate RNA interference (RNAi) against target gene expression.

  • Patent number: 11836485
Abstract: Methods and systems for reviewing software code. The methods involve detecting a change in source code associated with an application and determining an effect on the application of the detected change based at least in part on a context profile associated with application.

  • Patent number: 7684908
Abstract: A vehicle diagnostic system including a processor, a user interface including a display device and an input device both coupled to the processor for interactive control thereof and thereby, and a local storage library connected to the processor for storing at least one application to be performed on a vehicle. The processor is programmed to request vehicle identification information from a user through the display device, create a particular configuration identifier containing the vehicle identification information entered by the user through the input device, store the particular configuration identifier in the local storage library, retrieve at least one application from the library as the application is selected by the user through the input device, and provide the particular configuration identifier to the application.

  • Publication number: 20060142972
Abstract: A system and method for diagnosing an assembly is provided. The system and method facilitates assembly diagnosis by (i) sensing sensory-inputs coming from the assembly, (ii) capturing data representative of the sensory-inputs and responsively producing sensor patterns indicative of the sensory-inputs, (iii) searching a data base of historical patterns that are related to the sensor patterns, and (iv) presenting the sensor patterns and related historical patterns at a user interface. An assembly diagnosis can be made based on sensor patterns, related historical patterns, and other diagnostic information presented at the user interface.

  • Publication number: 20060095230
Abstract: A system and method for improving diagnostic aids such as fault trees and repair manuals uses feedback in the form of repair data from a distributed base of data collection devices used by technicians. The data is processed by a data analysis computing unit. The computing unit determines proposed modifications to the diagnostic aid based on the data. A diagnostic tool editor is used by a subject matter expert to review the proposed modifications and either accept, reject, or modify the diagnostic aid. The modified aids are then made available to the service technicians in the field, improving their efficiency and ability to more quickly diagnose machine conditions. The disclosure is applicable to machines generally, including for example automobiles or components thereof, such as engines and transmissions.

  • Publication number: 20060085108
Abstract: A method is provided for updating a fault tree used in diagnosis of a condition of a machine. The fault tree is a sequence of test modules. Each of the test modules is assigned a confidence score indicating the likelihood that the test module will lead to a diagnosis. The method comprising the steps of obtaining service data from a plurality of service occasions for like machines, revising the confidence score for at least one test module in the fault tree based on the service data; and revising the sequence of the test modules in the fault tree based on the revised confidence score(s). The sequence is revised such that the most likely modules to result in a diagnosis are listed first, and the least likely ones are listed last. The re-ordering is based on feedback from actual service instances in the field, and thus is more likely to reflect real-world conditions. The result is that service technicians using the revised fault trees work more efficiently, at least on a statistical basis.

  • Publication number: 20060030981
Abstract: A vehicle diagnostic system comprising a rules storage system configured to store one or more rules, each of which determines whether the vehicle may have an anomaly when applied to vehicle diagnostic information. An operator interface may be configured to alert an operator of the diagnostic system to a suspected anomaly in the vehicle. A processing system may be configured to receive diagnostic information from the vehicle, apply one or more rules in the rules storage system to the diagnostic information, and cause the operator interface to alert the operator to a suspected anomaly in the vehicle if the application of the one or more rules results in a determination that the vehicle may have that anomaly. Variations and related processes are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20060012884
Abstract: A heads-up system includes a diagnostic tool and a heads-up display for displaying information from a vehicle. The diagnostic tool connects to a communication bus of the vehicle. The display includes a projection device and an input module that is connected to the diagnostic tool either wirelessly or with a wire connection. The input module may translate signals from the diagnostic tool into signals readable by the projection device.
